The heart is a dangerous thing.
It creates barriers between itself and the mind to reach impossible goals--impossible places--impossible people.
Perhaps that is why we are warned against following our hearts instead of our heads. But what if our minds are the problem as well?
What happens to a person with a heart and a mind that are ideally in sync? What are they supposed to do to fight against the sweet promises whispered in their ears by both heart and mind?
There are so many questions with little to no answers.
For some people, falling in love is like falling from an airplane without a parachute. It is dangerous and stupid and so very, very exhilarating.
The thrill is like no other, and the heart screams with joy as its whispering pleads are finally heard.
But what happens when the ground finally approaches? What happens when there is no one to rescue you from an inevitable 'death'?
Perhaps that is where the mind comes into play. But no. Because the mind is too focused on the scenarios and fantasies to actually think for itself.
The heart is a dangerous thing.
But so is the mind.
