Chapter 5: End of File

The image changed again.

Thor chuckled. "Maybe (Y/n) was right to see some good in you. Maybe you're not so bad after all, brother."

"Maybe not." Loki agreed.

"Thank you. If you were here, I might even give you a hug."

Loki chuckled lightly at that. The next scene to appear was of him and (Y/n).

"I do bring a lot of mischief your way."

(Y/n) reached up and placed her hand on his cheek. "I happen to love mischief."

Loki smiled and laughed, leaning down and pressing his lips to hers in a passionate kiss.

"I love you." He told her.

"I love you too, mischief."

"Marry me?" Loki asked.

(Y/n) blinked several times up at him, very surprised by that. "W-What?"

"I'm done chasing after a throne. I've finally realized that I don't need a throne, or power or an army to be happy. I just need you. You make me better, and make me want to be better. I'm sorry it took me so long to figure it out, but I'm hoping you'll still say yes. So, will you marry me?" He asked.

(Y/n) smiled widely and wrapped her arms around his neck. "Yes. Of course I will."

The two of them leaned forward and kiss in celebration.

Green magic surrounded her finger, and a beautiful golden ring with a green jewel appeared.

Loki smiled widely at that scene, tears falling down his cheeks from joy this time. (Y/n) was going to marry him. They were going to live happily together forever. Maybe they would even have children as well.

"Undying? You should choose your words more carefully." Thanos said.

Loki's smile immediate fell, seeing the Mad Titan appear on the screen. He slowly stood up and walked forwards, his face stony and his eyes murderous.

Thanos grabbed Loki by the neck, and held him in place. "Speaking of your visit to Earth, I seem to recall making a certain promise if you failed."

Thanos slowly turned Loki's head, making him look towards (Y/n). Loki's eyes widened.

Loki's glare fell to a look of fear. "No..." he whispered.

Ebony Maw used his powers to lift up a sharp piece of metal that pointed right at (Y/n). He swiftly moved his hand forward, and the metal impaled itself into her chest, right where her heart was.

"NOOOO!!!" Loki bellowed. Tears spiked out of his eyes as he watched (Y/n) fall to the floor with a thud, her blank and lifeless (e/c) eyes staring right at Loki.

Thanos lifted Loki off the ground by the neck. He started coughing and choking as he glared at the Titan with hateful tear stained eyes.

"You...will never be...a god..." he choked out.

Thanos smirked at him as he clenched his fist, breaking the bones in Loki's neck. He dropped his limp body next to (Y/n)'s. His limp hand landing on top of hers.
