Imagine each hexagon being a different expanded compartment on the underside of bottom with all sorts of hidden goodies within. The gaps mark the spots where the glow would be. Oh and if he taps two or three connecting ones they all come out to reveal even more things.
Onto the story:
After the media coverage of the Second Task a large boom of sales occured for the Holophone Gauntlet.
Stylisation was optional and uncontrolled.
The Gauntlet bonds to the User's Magic Core and takes on the colours and aspects of the user's personality.
I meanwhile worked in my workshop while R2 handled stock letters and replies for various requests such as weapons and proclamations of love.
Fan Mail was burnt on sight, no exceptions.
Not after I found that nude of that 130 year old woman wanting to be my sugar mommy.
She was older than Dumbledore.
Disgusting.
I finish the most recent variant of the Holophone Gauntlet, extending it up to the elbow to add another Add-on space.
I have the Holophone in the third slot, the Shield Generator is stored in the first slot of the Gauntlet while the the second slot has my nothing in it yet.
Slot four is open as I pick up and double check my newest invention.
I got the idea from Transformers.
The Ground Bridge.
A wormhole like portal that acts like a doorway between places.
In the show it's a short tunnel but this one you enter and exit at the same moment.
It can't take living biological objects through it but if you're in a full body suit it might work.
Half the rats I used came out inside out regardless of the suit or not. Corpses went through fine.
