"Is this the time you come home?",the voice came as she was about to unlock their room.
"Unfortunately, I do come home and do not leave and come home as I wish, I don't have that option or facility here and if that's a problem too ammamma garu(grandmother) then I will probably stop coming here only",she said and gave her a smile.
"Are you seeing all of it, Aruna? Are you seeing how she is giving me back answers? Such an ill mannered girl",Sharan's grandmother spoke.
She was sitting on her arm chair, with a glass of haldi milk in her hand which her daughter in law, Aruna just handed her as she was feeling like she would get flu.
"Athaya(mother in law), Aaru informed me that Sharan has to go somewhere for three days, he got an important call itseems, so he wouldn't come back home till then. Aaru happened to talk to him, so she asked me to inform you regarding this",Mridula said.
"Oh, thats okay Mridu! Do you want to have anything?",Aruna asked.
"No, athaya! I have some notes which is needed for tomorrow also I have an early lecture so I need to sleep early. Is there any help that you want me to do?",Mridula asked.
"Wah, very good Aruna, very good! Keep doing this, she is your daughter in law, not your daughter to pamper if you keep doing this she will dance on your head. You will never understand till you experience",Sharan's grandmother said.
"Athaya garu, leave about Mridula! Why don't you go an drelax in your room. I'll come in a while to check your blood pressure levels",Aruna said in a calm tone.
"There's nothing much, Mridu. I forgot to wish you in the morning, Happy Anniversary kanna! I have no idea if its happy anniversary for you both or not but I am not wishing for that I am wishing for our anniversary, the day you became a part of our family and came as my daughter in law. I can't believe its going to be five years already",Aruna said after her mother in aw left to her room earning a small smile from Mridula.
"In that case, happy anniversary to you too athaya! You are my favourite person in this home and without you, with my first salary or even by taking a loan before I got a job I would admit this whole household in mental asylum and pay them so much that they won't leave them out in a lifetime",Mridula said and both of them chuckled at her statement.
