Her father used to be friends with Toichi so she learned a few magic tricks from him,
She met Kaito a few times when she was young. She was his first love and he was hers. Not that they both know this.
Y/n didn't know that Toichi was the 1st Kaito KID until 4 years ago. Her parents were assassinated (which was made to look like an accident) 4 years ago. She then moved to y/f/p and while segregating her parents's stuff, she found her father's diary. Finding the truth behind her parents' and Toichi's death, she started to work as a phantom thief. The main reason was not to find Pandora but to lure the organization.
Y/n knows the whereabouts of Pandora, but won't destroy it. She was actually about to but then she met Toichi. After understanding the situation, she moves back to Japan to help her 1st love. (not because Chikage wanted to fangirl and tease Kaito)
