Hello! This is my submission for the graphic contest held by Karuar. We had to create a poster for a fast food item that is served in a Michelin star restaurant. It took me approximately one-and-a-half hours to design it.

First, I searched "fast food" in Unsplash. I then found the following picture:

I opened it in Photoshop and used the "Generative expand" tool to get a little more space at the top and the bottom as the text wouldn't have fitted otherwise. Then I added "breakfast special" in the font FoglihtenNo07calt and made the text bigger. I chose the red and orange colour for it because it went well with the picture. As the text looked a little boring I added some texture and a drop shadow to it. Then I drew a vignette on top of the image and used gaussian blur on it. Next I added the other text, this time using a silver gradient and, again, a drop shadow. It took me a while to position the text correctly, as I couldn't find the right place for it. When I was happy with it, I added a few adjustment layers and tweaked it slightly.

After downloading it, I went to Photoshop Express and added some last effects to the picture. Then I decided to use Canva to make a mock-up to see what it would look like as a real poster.

Would you want to try out the burger? Do you like the design?

Anyway, have a nice evening!

Love, Amy

(PS: No, I couldn't think of a better name than "The Oak Tree Restaurant")
