~ The Final Chapter ~

"Whoever did your makeup had rent due-" her lover chuckled and sniffled. "It's still beat, even with all these tears."

"Yours too," she laughed while wiping the tears falling from Lauren's eyes. Then she let her eyes soak in her entire appearance, from head to toe.
Her head shook. "God, you look beautiful," Sade whispered.

Lauren smiled. "And you look stunning..." Her eyes trailed up to peer dearly into Sade's. "Absolutely stunning..."

A brief moment of silence passed once the audience quietly awed at their words. Then the official cleared his throat, making everyone laugh.

"Sorry, I didn't wanna interrupt the moment," he chuckled. "Well let's get started then- Friends, family, we are gathered here today to celebrate the union of Sade and Lauren...."

As the ceremony went on, the couple had hardly taken their eyes off of each other. They'd held hands between them, and would speak to each other with their eyes as their thumbs rubbed the other's hands.

Before they knew it, it was time to say 'I do.' And the question was answered without hesitation because in truth, the two were itching for their lips to finally touch. After all, they hadn't seen each other or touched each other since Lauren kissed Sade goodnight at the door of her hotel room last night. Though it'd only been less than twenty four hours, they'd been missing each other already.

"Well, by the power vested in me, I now pronounce you, wife and wife," the official said with a smile. "You may now kiss the bride."

In the blink of an eye, Lauren had reached for Sade's waist to pull her in and instantly connected their lips.

Sade beamed into it, and they kissed a few times before finally pulling away as their parents playfully made their presence known. The entire audience was cheering and clapping, as well as the bridesmaids and bridesmen, as the wedded couple walked back down the aisle, hand in hand.

Now was the time to get ready for the reception, which is everyone's favorite part of any wedding. And everyone had a total of thirty minutes until the celebration began.

"Baby I can't believe we're really married," Lauren said to Sade as they walked into the dressing room, alone, finally. "I didn't think it possible to be this happy, I'm telling you."

Sade smiled. "Weren't you the one who's been saying we were already married for months now," she joked.

Playfully rolling her eyes, Lauren pulled her wife into her lap as they sat on the small couch,

"Okay but it's one thing to say what's in my head, but to have that now be a one hundred percent reality??..." She held Sade's waist with one hand, and her thigh with the other, as her smiling lips dragged along her neck. "Now that's a whole different story... And a wholee different feeling..."

Now biting her lip as she felt heat rise beneath her skin just that quickly, Sade drew a timid breath,

"Lauren..."

"Hm?" She kissed her neck softly, then trailed her lips up to nibble on Sade's ear.

Sade giggled. "Honeybee, we're supposed to be changing... What if someone walks in..."

"That sounds like a 'them' problem if they don't knock." Sliding the hand that was on her wife's thigh up to her neck, Lauren continued to plant tender and aimless kisses onto her soft skin. "I've missed you Emerald," she whispered in a sultry tone, making Sade's spine shudder. "Did I tell you, you look beautiful?"
