"Hey now, I held my tears in at your wedding- You better not start A," she said while wiping the single tear and adjusting Aria's hair as well.
Aria chuckled. "I'm sorry, I'm sorry... I'm just so happy for you two," she dearly tilted her head at her best friend.
Sade mirrored her with the pout of her bottom lip.
"Okay, okay- enough of that," Aria then blew out an emotional breath before heading towards the door. "I have to go swap with Hunter real quick, to make sure we're good to go. Be ready to walk when I come back- You're first remember!"
"You just haaaad to remind me," Sade chuckled dryly while shaking her head.
"You'll be fine Sade," her mother assured while straightening out the dress and making sure nothing was out of place with her appearance. "I know for a fact that the second you see her walking down the aisle and up on that altar, everything else will fade away. Trust me."
"I'm sure you're right mom," she said. "It's just the before process that's turning my stomach into knots," the two of them laughed.
"Just breathe honey." Adrienne held her daughter's face in her hands with a maternal gaze upon her. "Breathe, and be sure to soak in every single moment of this day... It'll be over before you know it, so just relax, and enjoy it."
Her hands went to hold onto both of Sade's, and with so much care that Sade felt herself about to cry.
"Thanks mom," she said barely above a whisper.
With a knowing smile, Adirenne pulled her into a tight hug, and whispered 'I'm so proud of you' before pulling away. Trying her hardest not to cry, Sade smiled wide.
"Oh wow," Hunter said once she entered Sade's dressing room. "Dude, you look amazing."
Sade laughed while sliding on her heels. "Thanks H. And how's Lauren, is she okay?"
"She told me to ask you the same thing," Hunter chuckled, along with Sade and her mother. "But yes she's fine. She's a little nervous, but in a good way, and she said not to worry and that she can't wait to see you." Hearing that, Sade's lips frowned emotionally as her head tilted. "Yeah yeah, she's the sweetest, but we're running out of time here- are you ready?"
"Yeah," she looked around the room, then in the mirror at herself. "I think I've got everything - is that everything mom?"
"That's everything," her mother nodded as the three of them made their way out of the dressing room.
And the couple's dressing rooms were on opposite sides of the building, making it nearly impossible for them to run into each other, even if they wanted to.
"Alright, it's time for the walk then people," Hunter flashed a smile before walking down the hall, towards the exit. "Aria should be on her way back now, but I'll see you at the altar!" And with that, she was out of the door.
