Chapter 7: Fake Cousin

-The Portal opened and our protagonists came out, both were happy at first when they thought that they had arrived in Madeline's world, but nevertheless, Madeline began to notice that this world looked different, she walked around a little with Mirella but Madeline didn't recognize any place they were passing.

Mirella: So....this is your world, SkyLin?

Madeline: That? no no, this is not my world, I don't recognize any of these places, it's not even close to where the portal that took me to the Nexus opened

Mirella: Well this is a problem, now we must get the Sky of this world and look for another portal to see if we are lucky enough to fall into your world, although now that I think about it, if the portal where you entered in the first place was closed, it means that This one was obviously going to leave you in another part of your world.

Madeline: Do you mean that we are possibly in my world, but in a different place from where I live? like another country or state??!!

Mirella: It's most likely, sorry girl

Madeline: DAMN, how am I supposed to get home now?! my parents are going to kill me this time...

-While the girl seemed frustrated for not having reached the place she wanted and knowing that now it would take a long time to return home, but she remembered that she had her cell phone with her and when she took it it started ringing, it was a call from Pico.

Pico: [Lin? are you OK? where are you?]

Madeline: [Hello Pico, don't worry, I'm fine and I don't know where I am. I found a friend who is helping me get back home but I really have no idea how to get back.]

Pico: [Well, I'm relieved that you're okay, but I'm still worried that you're still lost. Can you explain to me what happened? BF tried to explain it to me but I didn't understand anything and I had to take him home because he had a panic attack.]

Madeline: [Oh no BF....Listen, do my parents know I disappeared?]

Pico: [No, they don't know it yet, but it won't take them long to realize that you won't make it home today.]

Madeline: [It may take me a long time to get back, but I'll try to find out where I am and find someone, everything here is a little desolate, maybe it's because it's late, but then I'll call you again friend, I promise]

Pico: [Be very careful Madeline, well at least you have a friend who will help you get back, I will prepare to look for you when I know where you are.]

-Madeline ended the call and turned to see Mirella to explain the plan she made with Pico to be able to return home. Mirella recognized that it was a good plan and together they began to look for someone in the city although it seemed that no one had been around there in a long time

Mirella: I'm not sure anyone is here at this time.

Madeline: Don't worry, maybe we'll get someone soon or some sign that can tell us where we are.

-Both girls kept walking while looking for someone but it was in vain, they couldn't find anyone, however they found a good place to spend the night, Mirella made a bonfire while Madeline got some sheets and pillows inside a trunk, both The girls settled in to spend the night until the next day.

-During the night both girls slept quite mortified, Madeline felt a little sad and worried about not being able to return home while Mirella felt a little afraid since she felt watched, she could feel that someone was lurking around them and she almost didn't was able to sleep being alert that no one approached them

-The next morning Mirella woke up and looked around to realize that Madeline was no longer there. Mirella acted quickly and left the place to look for the girl only to realize that Madeline was returning to the place, but She didn't come alone, she brought another girl with blue hair and huge pink eyes, there was no doubt that she was a Sky like them.

Madeline: Hello Mura, good morning! I'm sorry for not letting you know I was coming out, you were asleep and I didn't want to bother you.

Mirella: Don't worry Lin is fine, who is your friend?
