Training with Clorinde Chap.2

A Day Later....

You Invited your longtime friend Clorinde to catch up, but not only to catch up but also do a bit of dueling although you could never win against her It was still all In good fun not to mention exercise. One could say that you'd been childhood friends with the Champion duelist but not as much as Margot who's mother once worked for the family long ago, but you honestly felt a sister like bond with Clorinde though you were almost alike but she was more...cool tempered 

you were outside in the gardens standing ten paces from each other, to make the odds fair Clorinde would be fighting with a sword rather then her usual weapon which was a gun not to mention she didn't want to shoot you, the both of you paced in a circle as your visions glowed

you took In a breath, "Well then...begin when you're ready"

Clorinde gave a nod, she then started walking towards you as she started to charge your way but you quickly countered her swing as your swords clashed, her Electro vision glowed as she released some lightening which made you quickly dodge as you made a Pyro Shield

Clorinde struck your shield over and over as she leapt up, but then you broke It with the impact sending her backwards but she caught herself quickly as you rushed up to her 

you rotated your sword as you both clashed again, but then you pushed her back as you channeled your Pyro power creating rings of fire that she ducked and dodged

"You're showing Improvement" she commented 

you smiled, "Thank you"

Clorinde used her Electro vision to attack as you barely missed her strike, "Have you spoken to Wriothesley lately"

you ducked down, "Yes! In fact he's Invited me to have tea"

Clorinde did a leg sweep which made you fall over, but you rolled over to block her attack 

"Hm, Perhaps this time around there'll be a wedding to look forward to"

you shook your head as you ignored what she said, but then she gained the upper hand due to your being flustered In which she knew was because of your ex boyfriend. Clorinde then knocked your sword out of your hands as It went flying to the grass 

she then pointed It at your neck, "Ready to Yield?"

you sighed, "Yes you win again Clorinde"

Clorinde smiled a bit, "Sorry I didn't mean to exploit you like that"

you shook your head, "It's alright...I suppose It's my fault"

she tossed your sword to you which you caught, rotating as you then sheathed it before motioning her to come sit down as your butler Clotaire brought some chilled water 

"Thank you Clotaire"

you sipped yours before setting it onto the table, just as Clorinde crossed her arms 

"He Invited you to tea hm? do you think he wishes to...get back together?"

you smiled, "I don't think so, It's been quite a few years since we parted and besides...."

you looked to the sky, "Wriothesley and I are good friends right now"

"I see, If that's how you feel but It's apparent to me that there's still something between you...It seems the flame of love hasn't gone out".
