Chapter 13

He tried to look away. "Fine."

The song have ended and dinner was announced. It's as if fate is playing with them when they were assigned in the same table with Ara.

The meal was painful for him. Zee and Ara can't help but talk a lot. Nunew felt like someone is stabbing his heart everytime Ara will talk about Zee's life that he does not even know about.

It was a familiar feeling. All his life, he felt that. Everytime he'll receive recognition at school, he usually comes with either Auntie Jimin or his nanny while most of his classmates have their family with them. While he was alone at the house, he'll call his mother who was in a vacation with her new family. While he was waiting for his father on line because he was busy talking with his business partners.
When his mother visit him in the house it felt as if he did not even exist. Like she was there but she really wasn't. It was always like that. It's always the same.

He wipe his mouth with a napkin. "Excuse me."

Zee reach out for his hand. "Where are you going, Baby?" His chest tightened when he saw Zee's dark, almond shape eyes. He just wanted to pull his boyfriend away and just ask him if they could leave already. He wants to be in his room with his boyfriend and lock him there so no one can see his Zee.

He shook his head and tried to make his voice sounds normal. "Restroom. I'll be back quickly."

He hated how he felt. He hated feeling like this. He hated~~~

He was about to enter the restroom when he heard some women talking... "You've seen Zee's alleged boyfriend?"

His face tightens when he heard that.
"Oh yeah, that's Nunew Chawarin. My sister knows him." A woman replied. "What can say you about it?"

"It won't last. Just like Kimmy Walt. Remember they were dating for six months, then suddenly it went poof? I bet Nunew Chawarin will end up like her. Zee's not the settling down type."

"Yeah, I think so, too. I can't wait for them to be over. Zee's too hot to be tied to just one person."

"You're right. And don't worry, it's already happening. I saw him last Saturday with Kimmy in a coffee shop. Maybe he's starting to get tired of his boyfriend already and decided to revisit his old fuck buddies."

Nunew felt like someone punch him straight on his stomach. He put his hand on his mouth to prevent himself from crying.

"Ohhhh, I like that. I'll definitely want him to revisit me!"

He was about to walk away from the restroom when he saw Wang Ara.

"Hi, Khun Nunew." Her voice so calm and gentle.

He can't even manage to give her a smile. "Hi."

"I'm happy that Zee finally stopped fooling around." Ara said.

He didn't reply. He just comb his hair using his fingers.

"He seemed to really like you."

"He wouldn't date me if he doesn't, would he?" He just can't help but use a sharper tone. Ara just smile and that moment Nunew just want to scratch her porcelain face.

She looked so calm while he felt like a volcano whose about to erupt.

"That's true. Zee seems to genuinely like you. After what happened to his father, I'm happy to see him getting a serious relationship."

He tried so hard to be calm but he just can't help that his jaw automatically tightens.

Because of what happened to Zee's father? He had no idea what happen to Zee's father.
