No Strings Attached

Chapter 12

He ended the call and immediately head towards the bathroom but Zee stop him. "What happened?"

"You don't need to know it." He sigh. He saw Zee glaring at him and he don't have time to fight with him. "Fine. Auntie Jimin got into an accident and her daughter now is in early labor."

Zee nods. "I'll go with you. We will use my private plane to Bangkok." Zee said without asking for his permission.

"Do what you want." Nunew headed to the bathroom.

Already in Bangkok, Zee and Nunew head to the mall first to buy everything that a new born baby will need. Then they went straight to Thai General Hospital. They reach the hospital around noontime.
They saw Sarang with one of the volunteer in Angel's Haven heading out of the hospital to buy lunch. Sarang told him that Sarawat is in the waiting area.

"Nhu!" Sarawat's face lighten up when his friend saw him. "Thank God you're here now!"

He quickly gave Sarawat a comforting hug. "How are they?" He ask.

"I've just talk to the doctor and informed me that Auntie Jimin is now stable. She was sleeping and will need a lengthy rest to recover. We could see her, tomorrow. Toey is still in the delivery room though."

Nunew nods. "I hope everything will be okay with Toey too."

"Thanks for covering the expenses, Nunew. It's one thing that worries Toey last night. Maybe that's the reason of her early labor. But you didn't need to put them in VIP Rooms. I mean it's great but for sure it'll cost you alot."

Nunew furrows his brows. "Cover the expenses? Me?"

Sarawat furrows his brows too in confusion. "Isn't it you who made them transfer to VIP Rooms? The nurse said all of the expenses are already paid and so as the other will be expenses are also already covered."

Nunew's mouth agape. "Huh? Who did~~~"

"I did."

He throw a glance at Zee. His sinfully handsome face was cool and impassive.

"I took care of the expenses and everything else. That's one thing you don't have to worry about anymore."

"You what?" Nunew can't help but raise his voice.

He saw Zee's jaw tightened and then reach for his arms. "Keep your voice down. This is not the place to argue with me."

He felt like a having a migraine. "What the hell is~~~"

"Nhu, who is he?"

He turned around to see Sarawat. The latter's brow furrowed. He sighed deeply and then massage his temple. He forgot that he haven't explain to Sarawat yet about The Panich.

"Sarawat ah, This is Zee Pruk. You saw him in Angel's Haven, remember? He's my fuck buddy. Zee, this is Sarawat, one of my bestfriends."

He saw Zee's jaw tightens even more. But he just gave him a side glare. "Chill, Handsome. Sarawat and I are close. He won't tell anyone. He wouldn't give information to internet tabloids or gossip magazines. The secret is safe with him."

"Nunew Chawarin, are you crazy?" He heard his friend ask worriedly. "What are you-oh, my God." Seems like Sarawat got a migraine too.

"It's okay, Watt. I know what I'm doing. I'm smart enough for this. We're all good. And you." He turn to Zee, who was all frown. "We need to talk."

He pulled Zee towards a hall where there are only few people.

There are alot of girls trying to take a glimpse of Zee but he tried his best to ignore them.

"What the hell, Zee? What's your problem?"

"What's your relationship with Sarawat huh? Tell me!"

His jaw tighten, His big doe eyes widens. "What?"

He saw Zee's eyes looked even more darker. "Does he like you?"

"Of course, he likes me! Did you miss the part where I said he's one of my bestfriends."

"Stop being a smart-aleck, Nunew. You know what I fucking mean!"

He groaned in annoyance. He wanted to bang his head on the wall. He just hope he could invent an anti-Zee pill soon. "We're not having this conversation again."

"Answer the question, Nunew! Does he like you romantically? Did he ever try to court you? It's a fucking simple question."

"For crying out loud, he's a big brother that I never had. Now, you answer my question. What the hell are you doing?"

"You don't like him that way huh? What about him? Are you sure he doesn't like you that way?"

He gritted his teeth. "Fine! Let's talk about Ara now, too. Tell me does she like you romantically? Did she ever try to make a pass at you? Did she try to seduce you even just once? Why are you always with her and the hell you can't say no? What about Kimmy Walt? Explain your fucking relationship with her, damn you!"

Zee's eyes squinted and he can't help but smile. He was sure Zee wanted to strangle him this time.

"Answer the question, Zee. What the hell are you doing?" "I paid the medical expense, what's there to explain?"

"Why the hell did you do that?"
"You were going to do it, why can't I?"
"Zee~~~"
"Look, I want a relationship, Nunew Chawarin." Zee snapped. "People in a relationship help each other. This is normal."
"The last thing I need is a meddling boyfriend!"
"At least now you admit that I'm your boyfriend!"

He shut his eyes tightly and his jaw quivers. He really need that anti-Zee pill fast.

He open his beautiful eyes and smile bitterly at Zee.

"You want a relationship? Fine. Let's be official. You are now my boyfriend. Happy now?"

Zee narrows his eyes and brows furrowed. "What are you planning?"

"What do you mean? You said you want a relationship. Now I'm agreeing to this."
"I'm serious, Nunew."
"Well, I'm serious, too. What time are you going to pick me up tomorrow?"

Zee's thick brows still furrowed while staring at him intently like a bomb who is about to explode any minute now.

Smart boy.

But at the end, Zee nods.

"Five thirty. The event will start at six."
Nunew nods. "Pick me up at my office then. I will ready my self there after my working hours."

He quickly went back at the waiting area where Sarawat was and never look back at Zee again.
