~ Xie Lian slowly awakens from his rest, the wind outside rustles, and the birds chirp and sing a tune that signals that it is a new day. Xie Lian slowly rose from his sleep, his hair was an absolute mess! Saliva dribbled down the side of his mouth slightly, Xie Lian examined the shrine, noticing that San Lang wasn't there. Xie Lian sighs to himself, smiling lightly. 'That one never stays in one place.' He thinks to himself before fixing his hair, his robes remain the same.

~ Xie Lian saunters outside, the sharp breeze rustles through his hair, and he hears a voice beside him. "Awake already, Your Highness?" Xie Lian looks beside him, seeing San Lang as carefree as ever. San Lang was leaning against the wall of the shrine, his foot propped up against it, his arms crossed as if nothing other than enjoying the day was on his mind. Xie Lian sighed endearingly. "Hey, San Lang! What are you doing up this early?" Xie Lian inquires.

~ Xie Lian wasn't quite used to his child-like voice yet, so when he spoke he slightly cut himself off at the end of his sentence. "I was just about to depart for my journey." San Lang chuckles slightly to himself. At this, Xie Lian tilts his head. "Journey? What journey?" Xie Lian inquires, seeming fully worried for San Lang. This was endearing in a type of way, Xie Lian looking worried despite his physical appearance was adorable.

~ San Lang chuckled at this too, he shrugged his shoulders. "I need to wake up early to go find the cure to turn you back to your old self. Do I not, Gege?" San Lang asks curiously. Xie Lian sighs. "Surely you don't plan on going even after what you told me last night? And without anything to fuel you up before you go?" Xie Lian blurts out. "It's dangerous out there, plus we still haven't waited to see if I turned back yet, we have to wait a few days!" Xie Lian exclaimed.

~ San Lang shrugged once again, almost as if he was indifferent to what Xie Lian was saying. "What good is waiting around going to do? Might as well start when you can." San Lang yawns, propping his hands behind his head. Though Xie Lian wanted to protest against San Lang's saying, what he was saying was understandable. They didn't know when he would turn back into his old self, and there was little to no information about the Gâibiàn zhe. Nonetheless, it was still dangerous.

"That doesn't make any other difference! Come inside so I can at least make you some tea." Xie Lian offers, and who is San Lang to deny Gege's offer? San Lang shrugs, and follows behind Xie Lian, sitting down with his legs crossed. As soon as Xie Lian grasped the teapot, a knock was heard at the door, and then two. Xie Lian sighs quietly through his nose. He paces over to the door, attempting to reach the lock. San Lang laughs at Xie Lian's attempts to unlock the door, so he stands up, carrying Xie Lian and placing him in front of the doorknob."

"Does this make it better, Gege?" San Lang asks teasingly, Xie Lian sighs, unlocking the door before the two Nan Feng and Fu Yao walk in. San Lang places Xie Lian down, and Nan Feng and Fu Yao give San Lang a nasty glare. "You're still here?" Nan Feng sneers "Don't worry, I also loathe the sight of your face just as much as you do mine, so let's get this over and done with as soon as possible. " San Lang snaps back, Nan Feng had literal steam coming out of his ears, and Fu Yao snickered and attempted to hide it with a small cough.

"Now, now, let's not fight just yet. Nan Feng, Fu Yao, did you two come to see if I've transformed back into my old self?" Xie Lian inquired, "Not quite. We've managed to find a little information about Gâibiàn zhě " Fu Yao explained, placing a scroll down on the table. The scroll was small and compact, but it was still information nonetheless. Xie Lian hopped up onto the chair to get a peek to see what was on the table, which made Fu Yao and Nan Feng exchange looks as if it was quite endearing. Xie Lian unrolled the scroll, on the scroll it stated;

'The Gâibiàn zhě is a quite mysterious creature with little information known about it, but it is said that there are two things that will be able to transform one back into their regular self, and the first; is to make a child sacrifice.'

Everyone collectively stopped reading, exchanging looks at each other and proceeding to read.

'The other is to convince the weeping mother herself to move on to the afterlife, which would be very difficult since she only comes out on a new moon in Tonglu mountains, and she is determined to find her lost child.'

The scroll ended there, and they all let out a small sigh. "Tonight is the night of the new moon in Tonglu mountains, but It'd be reckless to go out there without even finding a small reason to convince the weeping mother." Nan Feng reasoned, "Yes, and well as we all know Tonglu mountains are very dangerous, so traveling there would be a death wish." Xie Lian added. "So how are we going to solve this, Your Highness?" Fu Yao asked Xie Lian. Xie Lian smirked anxiously. Xie Lian didn't know whether to laugh or cry.

"Well, unless we can find a mother willing to give up her child to sacrifice to the Gâibiàn zhě, we might as well try and reason with her." Xie Lian explained, half serious, half joking. "So, it's settled then? We are going to TongLu mountains?" Nan Feng asked. They all collectively exchange looks and nod. "I guess so." Fu Yao agrees reluctantly. Xie Lian sighs. "San Lang, do you want to come along?" Xie Lian asks.

"Why not, I've nothing better to do." San Lang shrugs. "I'm sure you don't" Fu Yao sneers. "Why don't you sweep up around here before we depart, Fu Yao?" San Lang snaps back. Fu Yao was just about to go off when Xie Lian gently placed his hand on his shoulder, giving him a nervous smile and shaking his head. Fu Yao huffed, crossing his arms.
