So, to remake a rom-com poster with a horror theme is super fun. I chose Love and Leashes, starring ex-idol and one of my favorite actors, Lee Junyoung along with Girl's Generation Seohyun. So the original movie is about a woman who discovers her new coworker's dark secret by opening up a package meant for him because their names are almost the same and they mailman at their office gave it to her by mistake. A collar and a flyer reveal he's into the world of bdsm and due to her strong nature and openness to the concept... The two begin a no strings attached master and sub relationship until real feelings form and things get complicated.

Now, my version is that the reason she was so open to this idea was because she's a century's old vampire. She saw the opportunity for easy food, since biting would play right into their rough play. However, as she gets the taste of his blood in particular, something happens to her. She's now thirsty and craving his blood all the time, and she loves him so she doesn't want to hurt him. Therefore, this leads to her prowling the night for other sources of food and slowly she gets more unhinged each night taking a little blood from each victim at first until eventually she's hunting them down for the fun of it and draining them. Her self control decays until finally she turns her madness on the one she fell in love with... The reason she's mad in the first place.

Won 2nd place!

The next round I joined asked us to create a scene manip showing how we celebrate Christmas, either in the past, present, or future. I chose present, and it's because at this point my family doesn't celebrate Christmas much. We have a tree, maybe a few gifts and a couple decorations around the house, but it's not super festive and we don't actually open our gifts on Christmas. We either do it a week before or a week after. My Christmases are spent missing someone... So, when I was 17, we celebrated Christmas as a 5 member family happily one more time, but on December 26th the next day my dad passed away unexpectedly. This graphic is kind of a way to honor and remember him, since his passing anniversary will be coming up soon. I included little pieces of him in the blurred photos. The girls sitting on the floor, represent my sister and I as we just sit around on Christmas, looking at a tree that had no real purpose anymore, the memorial stone sitting on the floor next to the older model's feet is a stone I actually have irl for my dad, and there's a broken ornament next to the younger girl. To me, the broken ornament represents a hole in my heart every Christmas, without my dad. This is my present.
