"These ones." I opened my palm so she could see them, and she nodded. "Yes, now put them in your pocket. They must not see them." She said, and I nodded.

"Hello, ladies." Vinogradov entered from a side door. "Well. My plans can not be out into the open, and even if they are, you will not get out alive." He said as he pulled out a lever which created some gas to be leaked out.

"Have fun with some hydrochloric gas." He laughed as he shut the door tight. My chest tightened as we now came into contact with it. Real original, Vinogradov. Real original.

Willow walked around trying to find the best possible way to get out of this situation, but it was useless. Every door was shut, and I was heavily breathing.

Matteo's P.O.V
"Well. Are those all of them?" Dante asked, and my eyes went to Vinogradov, who was just walking around smoothly.

"No. Let me take care of this one." I said darkly as Vinogradov saw me. His face twitched into a forced smirk. "Matteo. It's a pleasure seeing you here." He said, and he will make it a pleasure for me to see him.

"Tell me. What did you think, deceiving the greatest mafia leader in the whole fucking world?" I asked as my gun went to his head. "So you know." His eyes became dark. So appearance and reality are apparently a thing.

"Yes. I'm planning to kill every single cell of your body without sparing you for any reason." I said, and he held his hands up in surrender.

"Kill me. See what happens to your fiore." He chuckled darkly, and I took out my pocket knife, and I stabbed him in the stomach as he grunted in pain. "My men will come after you." He said as he coughed out blood, and I pierced the knife deeper inside him.

"Which men? These ones." I laughed heartlessly as 'his' men were right behind. Following my every move. "I wanted them to watch as I kill you, and if they think of betraying me. They fucking won't because you know why Vinogradov?" I asked crouching down at his almost dead figure.

"Because. I know all their family members and every single one of their moves, so let one try it, and they'll see what happens." I spat at him, and I pulled the trigger at his head, and I watched as the old man stopped breathing and lying dead.

"Search every inch of this place and find Willow and Kyla." I ordered them, and they nodded quickly. "Woah." Dante whispered as the air became silent.

"We found them." One told me, and he gestured to the loose floorboard. It smelled like hydrochloric gas, which kills in about 15 minutes. "Matteo." Willow sobbed once she got up, and I wondered why she sobbed. Did they do something to her?

"She's not breathing." She said in between sobs as they also carried Kyla up. When she said those words, I felt as though my heart could not take it myself. It felt as if all the air in my body went out.

"We won't have time to take her to the car. Bring her to me, and I'll take her to the medical room." I said as I carried her. She felt so light. I could still feel her pulse, she's still stable

I ran to the room, and I attached her to some medical equipment and a drip, which will give her a liquid that'll drain all the hydrochloric gas since she's asthmatic.

"What happens now?" Willow asked, and I grabbed Kyla's unconscious arm, and I squeezed it. "We need to wait." I said to her quietly, and Dante just sat down worriedly.

"What happened back there?" I asked Willow. "Well, originally, they planned to steal the drug you created. That's why they waited. Vinogradov was secretly working with Lucas -" I stopped her with my hand, and I just remembered that I found out that he is my twin brother. I also want Willow's father, which my uncle

"He's my twin." Dante's eyes looked like they wanted to come out of their sockets. "You're joking." Willow said, and I shook my head.

"I'll tell you the rest at home, but what I can tell you know is that Kyla figured it out before any of us." I said as an idea popped inside my head.

"I have an idea that might possibly work." I snapped my fingers to ask Willow for her inhaler.

"Hydrochloric gas is reactive to oxygen, and the drug I created is basically nitrogen oxide, which is air but with basically oxygen, which can knock you out." I explained to them, and Dante was not even listening because he knew that I'll be talking gibberish.

I took one of the smoke pallets from he pocket. So, if my calculations are correct, they oxygen will kick the hydrochloric gas out of her body within seconds. I opened her mouth, and I pressed the inhaler, and I think it went in.

I looked at the monitor, and it started beeping, meaning her heart was starting to beat at a normal rate again. She took the drug I gave her. This drug was created to make people pass out, but it had the opposite reaction towards Kyla because it was reacting towards the hydrochloric gas.

Her eyes fluttered open, and her butterfly lashes continued blinking continuously. "Water." She croaked. Oh, I almost forgot that the one side effect of inhaling the drug is that it burns your throat for a little while.

Willow gave her water, and she gulped the drink. "Did you finally kill Vinogradov?" She asked, and I nodded. "That's good. I suppose." She said, and Willow hugged her so tight that she was found gasping for air again.

"Don't hug her so tight. You'll kill her." I snapped. Willow held her hands up in surrender.

"I'm feeling a bit tired, so I'm going to lie down again." She said, and I nodded. My hand left hers as she started drifting off.

"Matteo. I know it's the wrong time to bring this up, but tomorrow is your birthday." Willow said, and I glared at her. "You're turning 21." She whispered, and I couldn't be more bored.

"Umm. Okay but you have to understand that you'll stay with your mother. I kicked Beau, Madre, and zio out." She said, and she nodded. She took this much better than I expected her to.

"Umm. Okay." She said.

"I heard what happened, nipote. I'm so glad mia bambina is okay." Aunt Gloria hugged Willow tightly.

"What was happening while I was gone." She gestured at the unconscious Kyla who was held by me. "A lot, mamma, but has dad been acting okay with you?" Willow asked as she was genuinely concerned.

"No. I feel Angelo has been hiding from me more often." Her words soft and calm even soothing than they should be. "And you're okay with that?" Willow asked incredulously.

"Aunt Gloria. Did you know I have a twin?" I asked and raised an eyebrow in confusion. "No. Do you have one?" She asked. She didn't know. Uncle Angelo was so selfish as to she would hide this from his own wife.

"I'm sorry, Aunt Gloria, but tomorrow. They'll leave." I said with no emotion. Aunt Gloria nodded. "I respect your decision, nipote. Oh, and have you chosen you, queen?" She had the sly smile on her face.

"Si." I looked at Kyla, who I was carrying.

Kyla's P.O.V
I woke in the middle of the night with a sore throat, and I went to Zoey's room to check up on her, but she was gone.

I received a text.
