Three days to competition
We watch the acro trio rehearse.
Nia fall.
"You're okay ?" I ask sitting on the floor next to her
"Can you stand on it ?" Gia asks
"Yeah." Nia says while crying
Mom walks in, Nia gets up and hugs her, then they go to the dancer den.

"I'm going to have, you two do a part of a dance, the one who does it better get the part." Abby says to Maddie and Chloe while Brooke and I are sit against the big mirror
Abby taught them the part and now they're about to perform it.
"One, two, three, four, five, six, seven eight." Abby counts, Maddie falls out her turns
"Ok Maddie, you're going to focus on your solo and Chloe you're in the trio, congratulations." We clap for Chloe
Maddie goes out the room.
"Okay we're going to start." Abby says
We learn the dance, I really like it.

Two days to competition
"You're solo is called Fairy Dance, it's a song from Peter Pan, you're going to perform Wendy." Abby says
"Yes !" I exclaim
"The song has no lyrics, it's piano version. I've been wanting you to dance with a piano song for weeks and now it's time to do it." Abby says, I nod
"You already won the Cincinnati school scholarship, you were trained by professional's. You know the demand's, you can do it." Abby says
"Yes." I reply
"Do very small step, it has to be gracious." Abby says
"Don't do the knee drop too hard, we have to keep the delicate side of the dance." Abby says, I nod
"Do last week group dance turns." Abby says
I do them.
"And then fall on the floor and it's finish." Abby says
"That was great ! You're getting right back in the game, awesome !" Abby exclaims and then high five me
"I want it clean for the competition, understood ?" Abby asks
"Yes, understood." I say
"Good."
I get dismissed.
