"Yeah, whatever..." I sigh, taking back my phone.

"You just gotta fill out a questionnaire, you know?" Chie says. "And then swipe up on the girls you like, and down on the girls you don't like."

"I don't really wanna fill out a questionnaire," I admit. "Can't you do it for me?"

She rolls her eyes. "No, I can't. It's a personal quiz, idiot."

"...Fine," I mumble.

"It's short, don't worry," Yukiko says, peering over my shoulder. "Just try to answer as honestly as possible."

"...Yeah," I sigh.

Yu's POV:

Rise and I say nothing as we return to the group.

I don't quite know what to say.

I just want to go.

"Oh, hey," Yukiko smiles as we sit down. "Is everything okay?"

I nod. "Yes, of course."

I look over to Yosuke, but his eyes are glued to his phone.

Either he hasn't noticed my reappearance, or he simply doesn't care.

Though, Chie is looking over his shoulder...

What the hell are they doing?

"I should get going," Kanji says, standing up.

"Huh? Why?" I frown.

I don't want Kanji to leave. Not at all. I don't want to be left with everyone like this. Even after I've been an asshole to him.

"Well, we just gotta wait, don't we?" He shrugs.

"Yeah," Rise sighs, putting her head in her hands. "We could be waiting ages, though."

"How about a celebration?" Teddie suggests.

I turn to him. "Huh?"

"A... cook-off!" He grins.

"Sure thing," Rise smiles. "If you want an obvious winner."

"Oh?" Yukiko scoffs.

"Well," Rise giggles. "It's only natural if I win, right? I can cook really well."

"Better than someone in an inn?" Kanji smirks.

"Absolutely," she nods.

"We'll see about that," Yukiko grunts. "Right, Chie?"

Our attention turns back to Yosuke and Chie, only just noticing the topic of conversation.

"Huh?" She asks.

"Yeah, you guys go ahead," Yosuke murmurs, swiping something on his phone.

I frown. "Why don't you come, too?"

"Hm?" He looks up briefly. "Sorry, where are we going?"

"To get ingredients," Teddie groans. "For the cook-off!"

"And Nanako-chan can be our judge," Yukiko decides.

"W-wait, we're doing this at my place?" I splutter.

"No, you can't," Yosuke says abruptly.

"Why not?" Kanji grunts.

Yosuke looks at me. "U-uh, come to my place. It's better there."

I exhale, grateful.

It's not exactly like he doesn't care about me, right?

"Okay," Rise says. "Well, let's head downstairs for now!"
