The threat of war looms on the horizon. The cunning GRAND ADMIRAL THRAWN has reunited the fractured IMPERIAL REMNANT and is planning an attack against the newly demilitarized NEW REPUBLIC.
To make matters worse, the New Republic has to deal with the resurgence of the notorious CRIMSON DAWN crime syndicate, a group led by MAUL, a former Sith Lord resurrected by the hand of Thrawn and the NIGHTSISTERS OF DATHOMIR.

In all the chaos, spies who have infiltrated the Imperial Remnant reported to GENERAL LEIA ORGANA of the creation of a fleet of ships that have the power to destroy entire planets. To stop the formation of an army of DEATH STARS, the princess sent her brother, JEDI MASTER LUKE SKYWALKER to a planet owned by the MINING GUILD, an organization aiding the Imperial Remnant, for reconnaissance.
