Me and Mathew seemed to talk for hours as old friends. As Dream entered again a soft smile seemed to grace his face as we locked eyes while Mathew was spiraling off into a story about his life as a human. I laughed as Dream watched us for a moment corking an eyebrow at something mildly out of odds making me laugh.

When Mathew finally noticed Dream he nearly fell off the bed in fright before mumbling something I barely caught under his breath. "No wonder they call you the king of nightmares and dreams because you are scary as fuck when you come out of nowhere" His words caught me off guard. I felt my eyebrow furrow as I stared at the bird for a moment. As he caught my expression he seemed to regret his words. I shook it off and checked if he was ok more worried about his rather than the odd thud happening in my head.

After making sure he was ok Dream asked him to leave so that he could enjoy his time with me while he had it. Without question, Mathew left after giving me a soft "See you soon my lady" I laughed at the familiarity of the formality.

As the door closed I slowly crept out of bed smiling as Dream turned. He seemed to hesitate for a moment as he reached begging for permission with his eyes seeming to not want to make me uncomfortable. I rested his worries as I pulled him in and placed my lips on his. If this was the dream I truly hoped it was I wasn't going to waste this rarity on hesitation.

He froze only for a moment before happily resting into a comfortable rhythm that felt like a dance of energy. His grip on my waist was almost punishing seeming to need the connection but also seeming to fear I'd leave. I let my fingers trail up into his hair deepening the kiss. His kiss slowly drifted down to my jaw and neck seeming to know just where to kiss and suck to send shivers down my spine.

I was drifting in and out of coherent thought when a loud bang made me sit up in bed. I nearly cried out for the loss of my dream state. I felt frustration rise in my throat as the banging intensified on the door of the common room area.

I got out of bed annoyance lacing each step until I ripped open the door to reveal Stephanie one of the friends of one of my other roommates. I grumbled out a quick "What do you want?" before she shoved her way in loudly asking if I knew where Ruby was. I looked at her tired and annoyed.

"No, I have no clue have you called her maybe to ask if she was here before barging over to our dorm door and trying to break it down" I'll admit my voice was less than kind as I worked my way around to make myself some tea. She ignored me before barging into Ruby and Jade's room where Jade still slept. I made sure to make a cup of tea for her as Stephanie's intrusions were a weekly almost daily occurrence.

As Jade walked out she grumbled in deep contentment "Why the fuck do they have phones if they aren't going to use the damn things...I barely slept I finally had just fallen asleep after a night of schoolwork..." She took a long deep sip from the cup I handed her a smiled at me "You?" I think she could see the extra eritation in my eyes as be watched Stephine finally pull out her phone before sitting on Jade's bed.

"I finally had a dream after ages of none and she woke me up right before I could take full advantage of the fine-ass dream man in front of me" Me and Jade snickered as I told her about my dream adding as much detail as I could remember. I took pauses every now and then to drink my tea or just take a moment to truly soak in what I remembered from my dream.

We sat by the counter and watched Stephanie for a while longer before she finally left not saying a word to us as she left. We stared at each other for a moment and began to laugh. We tried not to let her bother us but she purposefully pushed our limits. As we finished our tea I washed our cups as Jade tried to go back to sleep. I decided to grab my laptop and head to the bookstore as it was the only place I was able to think in peace sometimes. I made sure to change into some jeans and a comfy sweatshirt noting the cold breeze of fall drifting in through my cracked window.

I made sure to shove my chargers for my phone and computer into my bag before pulling on my headphones. Before I left completely I made sure to give Jade some Melitonine and a glass of water in the hopes she'd be able to fall asleep once again.

I took my time to enjoy the weather as I walked to the beat in my headphones still smiling as I played through some of the small details I could remember of the dream I had last night. Lucciene said it was rare for wanderers to have dreams and if they did it was rare if they remembered it. I made a note to tell Luci about it tonight when I drifted back to dreaming.

I stopped for a moment as a soft weight landed on my bag. Turning I smiled at the raven standing on my bag. I slowly moved to offer him my hand smiling as he climbed onto it.

"Hello there... Would you like to join me for my walk?" I asked the bird who I knew couldn't respond as he stayed quiet I offered him my shoulder laughing as he took it without hesitation. As I walked he seemed to bop his head to the song I was listening to. In my heart, I knew it was Mathew from yesterday and I was perfectly happy.
