The dash, it's digi', the schedule busy
My head in a hoodie, my shorty a goodie
My cousins are crazy, my cousins like Boogie
Life is amazin', it is what it should be
Been here for ten but I feel like a rookie
I tell her, look up, 'cause it's snowin' in Tootsie's

'Yes Indeed' by Lil Baby and Drake vibrated through the walls of Hakeem Abadio's home basketball court.

The newly turned twenty four old wasn't yet cleared for any physical activity but you'll soon find out that the young man doesn't often listen. He was currently throwing up shots when he was supposed to be in bed nursing his swollen knee. He'll quickly learn.

Hakeem put too much pressure on himself to be the best when he is already so much further ahead of his rookie class. All the greats in the sport of basketball have already praised him to be the second coming of LeBron James and could possibly pass both him and Michael Jordan.

While he was doing things he wasn't supposed to be doing he didn't notice his sister, his agent and LeBron enter the basketball court. The guests shook their heads once they noticed Hakeem and his twin sister, Aurora, instructed Alexa to pause the music.

The young basketball player's head snapped towards the door wondering who stopped his music but his eyes widened when he saw the last group of people he wanted to right now.

"Hey guys," he mumbled as he walked over to them. They all gave him unimpressed looks.

"You're supposed to be in bed," Rich Paul, his agent told him. "You do wanna play next season, right?"

"Of course I do, I was ju—"

"You was just what, Hakeem?" Aurora cut him off.

"Why you down here?" LeBron asked his mentee.

"Cause he don't listen." The older twin rolled her eyes while she spoke.

One thing Hakeem hated was when people wouldn't let him talk, he easily got frustrated.

"He wasn't talking to you," he told his sister.

"It doesn't matter anymore the damage is done," Rich interrupted the siblings before they could have an another argument in front of him. "Keem, I'll set an MRI in the morning to see how your knee is looking but for now get dressed cause the foundation's charity event is in a few hours."

"Good evening, everyone," Hakeem spoke into the microphone a few hours later. The large crowd fell silent and all eyes were on him. "On behalf of my family, I just wanted to thank y'all for coming out tonight. As you all know my mother lost her battle with breast cancer six years ago and in her honor, my father, my siblings and I created the Victoria Abadio Breast Cancer Foundation to garner support and research for this vicious disease. Also in the foundation, we help families with any relocation and provide therapy for the children and partners. Thank you to everyone who has already donated tonight, it helps more than you can imagine. And to anyone who hasn't donated yet, what y'all waiting for?" he smirked, green eyes moving throughout the crowd. "But seriously, thanks again for supporting the foundation and have a wonderful rest of your night."

Thunderous applause began in the ball room as he stepped back from the podium and the orchestra played once more. Elizabeth, James, Sebastian, Aurora and Adalynn didn't wait and instead joined him on the stage causing the audience to continue their applause. They all waved and smiled to the people then had their own conversation far from the mic.

"Where is our father?" Hakeem asked them but kept a smile on his face seeing the flash from multiple photographers' cameras.

"Probably in his office drunk," James mumbled not much caring for the man.
