Let us begin

First day back at school, 1984.

Isabella had woken up to her alarm as she did every day.  Her routine started as it normally did, she would wake up, and start her day with a morning run before eating her breakfast which was normally yogurt with some sort of fruit. Afterwards, she would shower, and complete her usual 3 step skincare routine, she would then pick out the perfect outfit for herself to attend school in. Each morning she would race her sister down to her white convertible coupe so that Lizzy could sit with her and talk while Isabella drove them.  Isabella had been gifted her beloved car on her 16th birthday, she knew it was only brought for her so that her parents looked loving and their favourite thing, perfect, but she loved it nonetheless.

Once the sisters arrived at school they walked over to Steve 'the king' Harrington. "Hey" Lizzy let out, "Liz" Steve said with a nod. Steve and Liz weren't that close but spoke on occasion thanks to Isabella. "Steveee" she said hugging the older boy "Hey Is," he said hugging her back. Just as Lizzy began to walk away there was a loud rev behind them, a blue Chevrolet Camaro. It quickly parked and a boy with curly hair got out of it "Holy smokes" Lizzy let out "Wow" Isabella says with her mouth slightly open. She can hear the girls just behind them complimenting his ass which she giggled at.  "Alright, you two stop gawking at the new boy. Let's get to class" Steve says ushering them to first period which they have together. "Hey" the girls said waving at Isabella "Hey girls" she said with a big smile, waving back to them.

For first period they had science. "Hey Isabella" Amanda said smiling as she walked past "Hey Amanda." Sitting in their usual seats in the front corner closest to the door they, Isabella sitting alone at the very front and her friends behind her, she enjoyed sitting alone in classes to make sure she could focus. They were suddenly interrupted by the curly haired boy from earlier in the morning  "You must be Hargrove. Your late." The teacher stated in matter of fact way,  "Take that seat next to Miss Dixon" he added "But sir-" Isabella tried to argue but was immediately shut down by a stern look.

Throughout the lesson Isabella was very distracted by this Hargrove guy, he kept doing little things that were subtle yet extremely annoying to the teenager. Hargrove had pulled out a cigarette and lit it "Um excuse me?" Isabella said  "What do you want one?" he said handing her one "No thank you. You cant smoke in here though. Could you please put it out" She asked with a smile "No." Isabella turned around giving her friends an annoyed look.

During lunch time Isabella got her usual fruit bowl from the cafeteria before taking a seat with Steve and Lizzy "What is with that new guy?" Lizzy asked her sister and Steve "What do you mean?" Isabella replied "He was so rude. Smoking next to you and annoying you all class" Steve let out angrily "He is new I'm sure he is just nervous about being in a new school guys, don't be so mean" Isabella defended him "Omg Issy you are not defending him right now" "What? We don't know him. Who are we to judge?" Isabella continued as the bell rang "Aw Is your so cute" Steve said walking past her and ruffling her hair "Hey!" she said giggling and fixing her hair.

Isabella walked into English, her favourite subject, she sat down in her usual seat. The new kid walked in and took a seat right next to her "Hi, I'm Isabella" she said looking at him with a smile and a hand out in offer of a handshake, but in response he just looked at her and looked away, she dropped her hand and was slightly upset by it but thought it was just his first day at a new school nerves. History was the same as usual except she had to witness Hargrove flirt with like every girl in the class. Towards the end the teacher gave the class time to get to know the other person at the table as they would be the permanent seats for the rest of the year "Hey-" Isabella starting hoping to actually get a reply this time "Can you just drop the act" he let out "Huh?" she questioned him "The sweet girl act" "Its not an act?" she was extremely confused now, " I've only had three classes with you and its already getting old. Your already annoying and I don't know how to stand being near you for the rest of the year so lets just not talk." He snapped at her. 

After school Steve and Isabella stood in the parking lot leaning against her car waiting for Lizzy "How was last period?" Steve asked "Um it was ok" Isabella faked a smile not wanting to tell him "Is, that isn't how you normally smile. What's up?" Steve asked, she was never a good liar or good at hiding her thoughts. "Nothing really" she reassured him "Is" "Its that Hargrove kid, he just said something that hit a spot. I'm fine I promise" she said ending the conversation. Lizzy turned up an hour later "Where the hell have you been?" Steve quizzed "What I got detention" Lizzy shrugged getting into her sisters car. Isabella hugged Steve goodbye and drove home.
