Times come and Gone

My name is Imogen, Imogen Delaf, and I have doomed the world. As I sit here in my nice comfy chair, in my warm spacious living room, crippled and dying, I think of worse days to come. The world is ending. I gaze out of my double glazed windows constantly and I can see the beautiful flowers outside my window blooming and the children laughing and playing outside, they have it all to come.

It began when I and my sister, Lily, were walking down the busy high street one bright and perfect morning during which nothing felt like it could go wrong. Lily bought us ice-cream, as I had already spent all of my money on sun-cream bottles due to the unexpected weather conditions. "Hey." I said with a chuckle and a grin as I sat on the emerald green park bench. She laughed and responded with a smile as she handed me an ice cream. I could feel the drippings crawl down the back of my hands, I could feel my other hand gripping the end of the bench, and my feet caressing the grass below me as I swung my legs in joyful expression. That would be the last time I was ever able to feel anything.
