The week after Jake made his first kill it was time for me to transfer into my avatar body full time.

Having woken up before everyone else I gently woke up Jake since my student has to experience this ceremonial journey beside me.

"Jake...hey Jake wake up" I said as I gently shook his shoulder to wake him up.

"Luna...what the hell are you doing up this early?" He asked as he rubbed away the sleep from his eyes before seeing the smile on my face.

"It's time Jake, today I'll no longer be in this body but as my student you also have to experience the ceremony by being by my side" I told him as he nods his head in understanding.

"But I won't be in the pod, you'll have to bring your avatar here to get me to home tree for the ceremony. Neytiri is getting my avatar ready while I'm here ok?" I explain even further as he stares at me softly before nodding again.

"so I guess this is goodbye to this Luna then?" Jake said as he looks down playing with his fingers before I made the bold choice to grab his hands gently.

"I'll still be me and I'll still be your teacher plus a week after today you'll soon get your ikran you'll get to see me everyday, I'll just be more...free" I told him and we both look up into each others eyes before I looked away.

"We should get ready I have to dress in the traditional way before you pick me up to go back to home tree" I told him as I saw Jake get up from his bed into his chair in the corner of my eye before he rolls past me to his pod.

Once Jake linked with his avatar I was left to dress in my leaf bra and loincloth fit for my human body. After an hour I waited to only see Jake come out from the forest to greet me as I put on my exopack on and leave the shack.

As we walked in silence we soon made it to home tree and I am greeted with a large group of fellow Nav'i gathering around me as they put they're hands on me as I continued to walk towards my adoptive parents and sister.

"Tsahik, Olo'eyktan , mother, father I come here today to give up this  Alien  body to live in harmony among my true sisters and brothers in the body that has been chosen for me by Eywa" I said loud enough for everyone to hear me 

As I looked up to see father giving me the faintest smile and seeing mother showing her proud face as Neytiri shows how worried she is about the transfusion.

"Daughter, Eywa has blessed you not just in the body she has chosen for you here but she has blessed your alien body, now that you are ready to live your life as one of us you will continue to learn the ways of tsahik and you will choose your own mate when you're ready" as father told me as I nod in agreement.

Soon after the entire clan gathered around the tree of souls Jake is behind me in awe until we see my avatar laid down Neytiri helped me lay beside my other body and I feel the tendrils of the tree set itself on the base of my neck.

"See you on the other side Jake" I said before closing my eyes smiling as I begin to hear mother say a prayer for all to chant.

"Hear us please, All Mother!" Mother says.

"Eywa, bless her" everyone chants.

"Take this spirit into you"

"Eywa, bless her"

"And breath her back to us"

"Eywa, bless her"

"Let her walk among us!"

"Eywa, bless her!"

"As one of the people"

"Eywa, bless her"

As the final tendrils form on my neck mothers chants grow intense until I feel myself link with Eywa.

Once I open my eyes again I am not at the tree of souls but I'm in a white room. As I look around I suddenly hear the sound of children's laughter, confused I walk towards it seeing the white room slowly turn into the forest before I see children run past me.

Looking down I see that I am not in my human body but I am in the body I choose to be in but that wasn't what surprised me it was the fact that my stomach was plump with a baby inside.

"Mama! Tell Neteyam and Kiri to stop teasing me!" A young boy says as he runs to my side hugging my belly.

"It's not our fault the skxawng can't hold a bow correctly!" A older boy said as a girl who looks to be a similar age comes out as they follow they're younger brothers lead.

"Hey penis head you're such a baby, you know Mom's  gonna help you anyways" the young girl says before smacking her younger brother upside the head.

"Hey! Don't call your brother a skxawng and don't call your bother a penis head!" I tell them firmly pointing at the two as they both turn they're heads down in shame.

"Yes mom" they say in unison but as I couldn't stay mad at they're cute faces I started to smile.

"Ok ok now come here be careful of the baby" I tell them as they all run up to me for a group hug being careful of my large stomach.

As I was surrounded by little hands around me I can feel myself being pulled back in reality as everything begins to blur all around me.

As everything  quiets down I finally open my eyes and see that I'm back at the tree of souls watching as I free my hand from the tendrils of the tree to see my hand be not of my human body but of my chosen body.

Watching as mother and Neytiri help me adjust to being in this body in mind and soul I get up to see my human body lay softly as if I'm watching myself sleep.

Turning my head to the side to see Jake with a shocked expression on his face I smile softly before he regained his composure and smiles as well.

"So...how does it feel?" He asks me stepping closer to me as we both hold intense eye contact with one another before I breath deeply before answering him.

"I feel....free"
