You finished bringing the last box into the bedroom and find Liam hanging something up. “What are you doing?” you ask, setting the box down. “There. Is it off?” he moves to the side and reveals a mirror he’s hung on the wall opposite the head of the bed. “No it’s straight,” you say walking up to him “but shouldn’t we have unpacked more important things before we start decorating the walls?” He grabs your waist and turns you around so that you’re in front him and looking in the mirror. He brings his head down and speaks softly into your ear. “This is important. It shows us how much we love each other every time we look into it. When we wake up in our first place together, each morning, our love will be reflecting right back at us, reminding us of everything we’ve gone through to get here.” He kisses your cheek and you turn around, staring into his warm and loving brown eyes. They squint and his nose crinkles as his lips pull up into a smile. “I love you.” He says, but before you can repeat the words he drops to a knee and pulls out a ring. “I never want us to be apart again. You bring everything good in me out for everyone to see. Without you I would never be where I am today and I would never be WHO I am today. Will you give me the honor of becoming your husband?” Your hand made its way to your mouth sometime during his words and when he finishes you nod ecstatically, stammering out yeses. He rises up, sliding the ring onto your finger. After a quick peck on your lips, he lifts you and spins you around. “I love you too.” You finally say when he sets you down.
