What spot should we show her first?"
Asked Rocky as he looked toward the rest.

"I say we have her meet Katie. I'm sure she'd love to see her."
Chase said, looking toward the gray-fur.

"Katie's it is!" Declared Skye once again, dashing toward Katie's Salon.

Katie sat down, grooming Cali with a purple-ish pink brush.

The pups raced into the salon,

"Oh, hey, pups!"
Called Katie.

"Here for a wash?"
She asked, looking back at her bath.
Rocky squeaked, lifting his left forepaw, stumbling backward.

"Actually.. we wanted to introduce our new friend!" Skye said.
The salon doors open as Kara and Marshall enter.

"Aww!!" Katie praised, walking toward Kara.

The pup stumbled back a few pawsteps, her left paw lifted.
"Aren't you a sweet looking-pup.."
The small pup was carried into Katie's arms.

Kara looked down and backed up at her.

"This is our new friend,"Skye announced but halted.

"Uhh..what's you're name..?"
Skye asked as she turned her body.

Katie looked down at the pup she held, terror blazing through her eyes, tension in her soul.

Skye sniffed, and she flinched.

"What's wrong, Skye?" Chase asked, immediately worried.
The other cockapoo looked up at Kara, although Kara's face was turned away.

'Fear..' Skye thought.  'What's going on with her?'
Katie looked closer at Kara, which caused Kara to quiver and whimper more and louder.

In a blink of Kara's eyes, Katie's head glitched into a tree.

With a sharp, whimpery bark, Kara leaped out the girls' arms and raced out the salon.

"Hey, come back!" Skye barked, racing after the other.

As Kara ran, she tripped over a loose newspaper, making her fall on her side.

After the rest of the gang came Katie, who seemed equally concerned.

The fallen pup looked ahead. Above her was another tree.

With a screech, she hurried away from the tree, running into Rocky.

The two fell over, Kara's head on his stomach.

After a few moments, Kara pushed himself off the gray pup. She slowly backed away from the emerging group and lay to the ground.

She shook menacingly, she whimpered and sobbed quietly under her breath.

Skye stared at the troubled pup in awe, and her legs quivered as she saw the small black ball.

Chase padded closer to the black pup, his body in sync with Skyes'.

Skye's eyes slightly contracted as her gaze turned to Chase.

Skye knew that look on both Chases' and Kara's.

Skye knew those two expressions and actions anywhere.

And so did Chase..

Marshall slowly approached the pup, who shielded herself from harm.

The dalmatian was going in for a slight touch, but immediately darted his paw back, kneeling down before her.

"What's the matter..,"
She continued to whimper as his voice was heard, her voice hitched into a slightly louder cry.
