Third Person POV

The night stretched on endlessly for Hanni, her frustration mounting with every futile attempt to find solace in slumber. Tossing and turning, she cursed under her breath, unable to shake the restlessness that gripped her.

It had been five interminable days since that fateful meeting on the rooftop.

The weight of the knowledge that you held her secret bore down on Hanni, rendering her powerless to approach you. The fear of being met with avoidance kept her at a distance.

Meanwhile, your thoughts were a maelstrom, revisiting that pivotal day. Dark imaginings crept in, uninvited.

"What if she abducted me, silenced me forever to safeguard her secrets?" The chilling notion sent shivers down your spine.

Swiftly, you brushed it aside, seeking solace in reason. "No, no. It's not possible. She's too short, too slight," you reassured yourself, though doubt lingered.

"But what if appearances deceive? Height isn't everything," you argued internally, caught in a battle of uncertainty.

In that charged moment, a timely distraction arrived in the form of a vibrating phone, a message from Jungwon.

"Can you hang out with us tomorrow? Me, you, Sully, Jini, and Bae," his words appeared on the screen, a potential respite from the turbulent thoughts.

"Ok," your response came swiftly, a welcome diversion from the mounting unease.

[Time Skip]

As the day unfolded, Minji, ever the inquisitor, raised the matter of parental consent for the upcoming School trip. The room buzzed with affirmations.

"Yes, my parents gave their blessing. I'm all set," Danielle declared, a note of triumph in her voice.

"Had the talk with my folks too. I'm in!" Hyein chimed in, a sense of satisfaction evident in her demeanor.

All eyes turned expectantly to Hanni and Haerin, the air thick with anticipation.

Haerin's assured response filled the space, a beacon of confidence. "Y/n will be there," she affirmed, the weight of her words echoing.

Hanni, on the other hand, nodded resolutely. "I'll talk to my mom tonight. It's a definite yes," she promised, though her thoughts inevitably circled back to you, just as Haerin had foreseen.

Amidst the chatter, Hanni's urgency became palpable.

"I need to step out for a moment," she announced, a swift exit planned.

"Don't get too cozy in the restroom stall!" Hyein teased, the room erupting into laughter.

After attending to her needs, Hanni meticulously washed her hands, her mind racing. As she approached the exit, a collision brought her to a standstill. Raising her eyes, she met your gaze.

"Sorry!" you offered, a swift bow indicating your intention to leave.

Yet, Hanni's hand shot out, a mix of determination and vulnerability in her voice.

"Can we talk?"
