"I don't think I can keep letting you love me, when I can't love you the way I want to," I put on a fake smile.
Haerin just shook her head 'no' again.
*KNOCK, KNOCK, KNOCK*
*KNOCK, KNOCK*
The knocking started up again.
I put on my house slippers and got out of bed to open the door. Haerin was following close behind.
"Hi!" Someone exclaimed as I opened the door.

She had a really cute smile on her face with a beautiful black dress.
"I was wondering if you wanted to hangout?" Hanni cutely asked.
I took a deep breath wanting to say 'no' for Haerin's sake.....
But a distraction seemed just like what I needed right now.
I turned back to look at Haerin, who was standing a bit behind the door.... and she shook her head 'no' at me....
I looked her in the eyes and shook my head back at her.
I couldn't be there for Haerin trying to figure out her feelings. I thought that I could, but it felt a lot more painful than I expected.
It hadn't been long, but it couldn't take it anymore.
I took a deep breather and turned back to look at Hanni.
"Yes, that's be nice. Let me just get my wallet," I told her.
- Haerin POV -
I held my breath as I watched Minji grab her wallet and put on her shoes.
My heart ached as I watched her walk out the door with another girl.
I let out a painful sigh when Minji had finally left.
"Fool!" I told myself.
My feelings for Minji were starting to grow.
That's why I kissed her.
But....
I just couldn't bring myself to admit it with words.
"You should've just said 'yes', you fool!" My conscience told me.
"You should've just kissed her again when she asked if you could return her feelings. Anything but shake your head. Everything else can be figured out later. You fool!!" I started to scold myself.
I let out a deep breath and place my back against the wall, sliding down to sit on the floor.
I was so disappointed in myself.
A few hours of misery passed and Minji still hadn't returned.
I did my best all day to try to keep all the jealous thoughts away.
Minji said that she'd always choose me and I trusted her. I trusted that she wasn't out there flirting and kissing Hanni or Kid or any other person.
"She told me she loved how brave I was even I was scared," I whispered to myself.
"But that's not true. I can't bring myself to tell her how I feel," I said out loud.
*GGRRRR*
My tummy suddenly started rumbling.
I hadn't eaten all day because I usually wait for Minji to have dinner with me.
I looked at the clock in the hall and realized that Minji probably wasn't going to get home anytime soon.
I took a deep breath and decided to get up to try to get some food.
I grabbed a hoodie and my wallet, then put on my shoes to head out of the dorm.
I wasn't sure where I was going but I knew I needed food.
On my way down the stairs, I noticed Kid walking out of the building from a window.
"Kid probably knows how to help me!" I thought to myself as I stopped in my tracks.
I watched as Kid continued to walk, not gathering up any courage to try to catch up to them.
A part of me felt like I didn't want to ask for her, I didn't want anything between me and Minji to change.
But Kid suddenly stopped to talk to someone....
And my feet started to move for me.
I ran down the stairs of the dorm hall as fast as I could.
I reached the main floor and ran out of the building.
When I finally got out, I stopped in my tracks.
I saw Minji and Hanni hugging each other goodbye.
I watch patiently, hoping either one of them would see me...
But they didn't.
Instead, when Minji pulled away from their hug....
Hanni stepped up to kiss her.
My heart broke into a million pieces.
But...
My whole world stopped when Minji cupped Hanni's face...
