A few military police started to run around as one stopped and called out to Hitch.

MP: Hey, Hitch! Lend us a hand, will ya?

The MP then runs off.

Hitch: Well crap. Guess I've got work to do.

Mikasa: Armin!

Mikasa comes running up to Armin.

Armin: Mikasa! There you are. I'm glad to see you made it in.

Mikasa: Yeah. We need to make use of this time while we have it. Let's go.

Mikasa and Armin start to walk away from the crowd of protesters, as they make their way inside the building.

Mikasa: Armin, have you seen Anakin?

Armin: No I haven't. Annie did leave early to day to go find him.

Mikasa: I see.

Scene Charge

Pyxis talks to Yelena who is looking out a window.

Pyxis: Ten months ago, during the celebration of the opening of the Trost Railway. The guard assigned to watch over you was changed at the last minute. Change to Floch Forster. Whilst everyone else was busy enjoying the festivities, Forter accompanied you to your lodgings. He's since been charged with divulging military secrets. I thought to check and it turns out that your lodgings were just a few dozen kilometers from Anakin Yeager's. It also turns out to be around then that we started to see Anakin take more unauthorized actions. On the bright side, this means I have an excuse to speak with a beautiful woman.

Small timeskip

Yelena and Pyxis set on a botany drinking tea as they look over the land in front of them.

Yelena: Okay, yes. I did meet with Anakin that day.

Pyxis: Oh?

Yelena: I apologize for hiding that fact until now. It's proof enough that you were justified in defending the volunteers.

Pyxis: How very kind of you to own up to it.

Yelena: This is through no fault of yours, but you don't know what the world is like. It seemed to me that you would keep waiting to make a decision until it was too late. And it was clear that Anakin had somewhat similar concerns.

Pyxis: I see. So that's when you told Anakin to attack Marley alone, so as to coerce the military into taking action?

Yelena: I wasn't quite that seditious. Although, I did tell him that the Military Government was due for a wake-up call.

Pyxis: That's all you told him? Why take the risk of meeting Anakin in secret without attempting to lay out some kind of concrete plan?

Yelena: It was in secret, because as a former soldier of Marley, I realized that I was in no position to request even a public meeting.

Pyxis: So you understood that you were gambling with our trust, but the risk turned out to be well worth it, because it let you get Anakin to Marley to find Eren and Zeke.

Yelena: What would be the point in having the Yeager's meet up together? I only wanted one thing! For Anakin Yeager to know who I was!

Yelena stops for a second as she takes a sip of her tea.

Yelena: No. That's not all. We wanted Anakin to bring back Eren Yeager so he with the Founding Titan could crush Marley into dust. And it somewhat worked. Those Anakin didn't find him, Eren did brutalized Marley just as we had hoped. Actually. He went even further. Eren answered our prayers for retribution with a divine fury that we had never dared to dream of. And the fact that he was capable of such an achievement is proof that he carries the Founding Titan. Commander Pyxis. Do you understand what's unfolding right now, before our very eyes? We are witnessing a truly decisive moment in history.
