colby eva vic and i were all downstairs in their lair that i just found out about five minutes ago as they all sat me down to talk.
"tatum you need to promise us that you won't tell anyone about this alright?" eva says to me and i nod
"yeah i would never tell anyone"
"if she told i would have to break her pinky" colby said shrugging as he got himself a soda and took a sip
"oh...kay" vic said looking at colby then back to me
that's when amy walked downstairs and looked around
"woah" she said as colby took another sip of his soda
"wanna go on a walk?" colby asks me randomly after finishing his soda while his family were all having a conversation about how to get hartley back
i looked at the maddens then i looked back at colby
"yeah why not"
"cool i'll bring my skateboard" colby says as us two start walking up the stairs and out the fridge.
"you skateboard?" i ask him as he grabs it from beside the door
he nods
"that's cool. i mean if i ever tried that i would break every single bone in my body but good for you"
colby laughed at me and looked down as he took off his beanie and put on his helmet.
we both walked outside and began walking on the sidewalk, well i walked he skated
after a few minutes of silence colby spoke up
"favorite food"
"what?"
"what's your favorite food?" colby asked looking at me
"nah you're gonna make fun of me" i said snickering and looking at the ground
"oh cmon it can't be that weird-"
"baby tomatoes"
colby stopped and kicked u his board to hold it
"b-baby tomatoes?" colby says trying not to laugh at me
"don't you dare judge me colby they are addicting" i say pointing to him as he laughs.
then his eyes wander up to the sky
"that's pretty" he says looking at the sunset
i quickly took out my phone and snapped a picture of it
colby turns to look at me
"what? i like sunsets"

"hey did you know that there's a tree between my house and yours connecting the windows?" i ask colby on the way back home
"wait are you serious?" colby asks me excitedly and i nod
"yeah i can show you sometime" i say as we walk up to his house
"uh oh" colby says looking in the window
he grabs my wrist and we both run around the back where we enter through the back door and he lets go
"ah perfect colby you're back" eva says as she grabs her son by the shoulders
"oh what now?" colby asks rolling his eyes at his mother as she whispers something in his ear and he turns back to look at me wide eyed
"absolutely not!"
