I could not tell her that she was Jemima but here I was seeing her and now she was leaving me again.

The pain was to much. I could also see the hurt in her eyes.

I knew that she loved me but... It was true that I said her happiness matters to me.

I glanced at the room. Wiping my tears away.

"I'll be outside if anyone needs me."

In all their eyes I could see pity and sadness.

Nonso p.o.v

Osas was in the room. A smile reached my face but it suddenly disappeared when I saw her face.

"What's wrong?." I asked .

She wiped the tears from her eyes hurriedly.

"Nothing. How you feeling now?"

I knew the tears were not for me and it stung.

"I'm feeling good."

"I've decided to marry you." She said.

My eye widened. It was good news to my ears.

"But you really don't want to." I said Instead.

"It's not about what I want. I owe you my life."

"Seyi is his name right?."

She hesitated before nodding.

I sighed. " Osas. I can't marry you if your not happy. I love you the point I'm willing to let you go."

Haven't they all said the truth was always bitter.

"You.. you don't have to Nonso. I said I'll-"

"And I'm saying go be with the man that you love Osas. Is the least I can do."

Her eyes filled with guilt then appreciation.

She hugged me lightly in order not to cause pain. " Thank you Nonso."

I let a painful smile. " Go be with the man that you love Osas."

I watched as she walked away.

For me it was indeed a failure of love.

Osas p.o.v

As I walked out of the room I couldn't believe my ears. I get to be with Seyi.

I get to be with the man I love.

As I got to where there were all sitting I didn't see Seyi and my heart sunk.

"His outside." Dad rose facing me. A smile reaching his face. " Go get back that man."

I nodded at him and smiled.

As I got out I saw him resting by his car. My heart did a flip.

As I approached him,I realised it was him I wanted to spend my remaining years on earth with. It was him I was madly in love with.

He rose up his face probably hearing an approaching footstep.

He looked at me. Different emotions displaying on his face but love conquered it all.

There was no way I'm going to let him slip from me.

I was a few steps away from him.

"I have decided that your happiness is what matters to me if you want to be with fine then fine. I'll....." He began to ramble.

I smiled." You talk to much." I cut in.

He looked confused. " Wh-"

Not letting him finish his words I planted my lips on him.

He looked shocked at first then relaxed drawing me into his arms.

He tasted like heaven.

"I love you too." I said as we broke apart.

He flashed a radiant smile at me." What made you change your mind ?."

His hands were still wrapped around my waist. "Nonso said I should go be with the man I love "

"I need to thank him later." He frowned suddenly." Osas I promise to let any harm cone near you."

I kissed him softly. " I know."

"You both should get down ! " A masculine voice yelled and before I knew it Seyi grabbed me and bent down. His arms wrapping around me protectively.

A loud band sounded and the glass shattered.

"Let go of me ! " I recognised Zina's voice.

We both rose. " Are you okay?." He asked Flashing cursory glance at me.

"I am but you bleeding on your face." I said reaching for it.

"It's the glass."

We both turned to see his body guard holding on to Zina. Other security men where gathering.

"She needs to die !" She struggled from his grip.

I felt pity for her. Guilt began to set in.." It's not your fault." Seyi said abruptly.

I looked at him surprised about what I was thinking.

"From the look on your face you look guilty. It's not your fault Osas."

"I'll go speak to her." He said.

"Be careful." I said worried she might do something.

The others had come out.

Seyi was talking with her and the security men.

"I hate you!." She looked at me and I felt the hair on my body stand.

Soon enough they took her away and Seyi came back to me.

"I love you Osas. " He said and kissed me deeply.
