Was I going to die ?....

Suddenly darkness over took me.

Zina p.o.v

"What do you mean by you shot someone else!." I boomed at Tolu and the man that was sitting in my living room.

"The man knocked her down before we knew what was happening." Tolu said.

"It was risky killing someone in broad day light." The man said.

He was dressed in ripped black jeans and a black shirt.

"I pay you much and you both screw it up. It's not hard to kill one woman." I said icily.

This wasn't going as I planned. I had managed to burn the files before Seyi came back last night and it turned out be useless.

I tried to manage my cool when he had called of the engagement all because of her.

It's all happening all because of her.

There is no way I'm letting anyone take Seyi from me.

"Give me the gun." I demanded.

"What do you want it for ?" Tolu aksed. Fear written all over the face.

"I'm going to kill her myself. Now give me the gun !."

The man passed me the gun. It felt a bit heavy. Luckily I knew I how to use gun. My dad had thought me for my own protection. Now it's time to protect my upcoming marriage.

Gerald p.o.v

"They are unto us Michael. We have to do something."

"What is there to do. We've lost Gerald. The best thing to do is just to escape the country."

"I can't go without Zina." I said abruptly.

"Zina ?. Isn't that Seyi's finance."

"She's not!" I snapped. " She was never Seyi's to begin with."

"What do you mean?."

" I and Zina had been friends before she met Seyi. I had loved her but she loved Seyi. Sooner that I thought they began to date and luckily for me Seyi got caught up in work and she always came to me. Suddenly we began to make out in secret and I loved her the more. She had told me she wanted me to to make Seyi loose the company and I thought I can make him loose the company and her but she was clearly obsessed with him that she didn't notice he didn't love her. I tried to tell her but she would not listen. Now he has left her for Osas. He told Osas he loved her last night."..

"What! " Micheal boomed.

"You should have proposed to her when you had the time ." I said.

"How do you know about it ?"

"I have my way Michael. I slipped a bug into her purse so I overheard the conversation with Ola".

"How did you slip it ?."

"I was also in the restaurant last night."

"My car. Someone obviously didn't want me to." He said

"I have to get Zina before I leave this country. There is no way I'm leaving without her."

Ola p.o.v

"What's with the police?" Tina said eyeing the armed men in her house.

"Michael has told us everything." Seyi lied.

"He did?" Her face was filled with fear and shock.

"Yes. And we are here to arrest you." I said.

This was a gamble we were doing and we hoped she will buy it.
