One thing just came to me as a shock as we were in a restaurant. Zina had told me that Osas was the lady planning their wedding.

It was good. Osas is a pro at those stuff but who would have known fate would have planned it all out like this.

My thoughts trailed to the first day I met 'osas'

"So. What do you think of the restaurant?." Alex had taken me all the way to Lagos to celebrate our Anniversary.

"It's looks fancy and eyes catching but why Lagos. There are many restaurants like this in Abuja."

He smiled. " I know but I heard this place serves the best food."

I threw a surveying glance round the restaurant.

When we had come here, we had been escorted to an elevator which took us to the roof.

The roof had tables with golden cloth. The view was very nice and the smooth breeze that blew.

As we walked to our table, there were red roses leading to it.

It was all romantic.

"Good evening." My eyes snapped to a lovely friendly face standing near our table.

"Good evening." Alex said with a smile on his face.

Looking at the lady I could notice a resemblance to someone I knew.

Could I have seen her some where before ?.

And it clicked. She looked so much like Eniola!.

Eniola Olatunji was my best friend. Our families were best friends until the accident.

This lady had the resemblance of her and also Felix. Could this be -

Impossible.

I was there for their burial. Jemima was also in the coffin.

"Honey?." Alex flashed me a confused look.

"Oh sorry. " I flashed a sweet smile.

"Oh it's okay ma'am. I just wanted to welcome you to our restaurant since you both are new people here. I hope you love the food and happy anniversary."

"Who is she ?." I asked as the lady strolled away.

"The owner."

I blinked. She's so young.

"She looks like Eniola or rather Jems. Don't you think?."

He nodded. " First time I saw her I thought she was the one now that your saying it I feel like I'm not just loosing it."

"But it couldn't be. Could it?."

"We saw her coffin." He said.

"But can't we just confirm. What if Jemima never died and maybe her body was switched?."

"But why would she allow that?."

I shrugged." Maybe she doesn't remember a thing. To escape that crash is a miracle."

He grew quiet. The lady strolled to other tables welcoming the guest and it was as if I was watching Eniola.

"I'll hire a private investigator." He finally said.

Three weeks after we were in  Dr Marx hospital.

"So you know the truth then."

We had explained our findings to him.

"Yes.but why can't we tell her about her family?" I asked.

"It's to risky." He said. "She suffered a permanent loss of memory, her forcing herself to remember things which can't be remembered can cause severe damage to her brain."

"So she'll not remember us ?." Alex asked.

Dr Marx shook his head.

"Thank you for taking care of her. She actually means a lot to us."

Dr Marx flashed us a thank you smile. " We just have to keep this between us. Do you have children?."

"Yes." Alex said." A son. There were both very close."

"Then it's better if he doesn't know. He may try to bring the past to Osas not despite knowing the damage he may cause."

"Seyi will never cause harm to Jemima." I defended.

"But to be own the safe side, it's better if he doesn't know."

I had thought severally that fate will bring them together even if he may know her as Osas but who knew fate brought them together so that she can plan his marriage with another woman.

And looking at both Seyi and Alex behaviour, it is obvious they are hiding something from me. I'll get to the root of it.

I remember when I had thought that I would be done with this story when I get to chapter 30, I entered chapter 31 and thought it had to be 35 now I'm in chapter 46 😭😭😭😭.

When will this story end abeg. I was hoping 45 at most now I'm lost. Maybe 50. Who knows 🤧💔
