"Please you guys shouldn't do anything about it. They have been dating for years I can't interfere in a person relationship." My voice came out weak and pleading.

And he may have feelings for me but I'm sure he doesn't love me... Unlike Michael.

"And I'm in a relationship. The feelings will eventually die down." I added.

"We'll see about that." He said. " I just have one more thing to say."

"What ?".

"Don't pay much attention to those tweets. They know nothing about you."

So he had seen the tweets.

"Thanks." I said softly.

A knock on the door got our attention.

"Miss Osas. Some of the customers are complaining." Head chef said.

"Complaining?." I rose. " About what?."

"It's better if you see for yourself." He said.

I headed out,Derek behind my trail.

"Surprise!.".

I flinched as the booming sound escaped the mouths of the crowd staring at me.

A banner of 'world best boss' caught my attention.

Glancing at the crowd, it was mixed with familiar faces. Chefs and customers with Anna.

"Hey girl!!"

That was Ruth's voice.

Derek tapped me lightly and i faced him. He gave me the phone.

"How was the surprise?." Ruth asked.

She had video called Derek.

"Were you in on this?." I asked both Derek and her.

"She told me to help her." He said.

"Oh C'mon Osas. After seeing those horrid tweets I knew you will still see it despite me telling you not to so I planned with some people to put up a surprise for you."

I felt liquid trailing down my cheeks.

"Your the best Ruth." I said softly.

"I know. So let's partee!!"

I thanked my employees and the customers.
And I had watched a video of both Boma and Nonso.

Boma had called me the world's best aunt and Nonso had called me the world's best friend and boss.

"I had to ask Nonso to do the video before he traveled." Ruth said

"Can I have a word with you." Anna approached me.

"Sure"

"I saw the tweets. Whatever they were aren't true. Your so much better than me."

I smiled. " No I'm not."

Her eyes shot up." What are you saying?. Have you seen-"

"I was thinking of letting you go start your own business. I was actually thinking of letting go of the event planning for good. Takes a lot of my time."

She looked shocked." But I can't. You can't!."

"It's okay An. I'm sure you will be the best event planner ever."

She had tears in her eyes." You helped me this far Osas. I remember when you saw me and took me under your care. How can I ever repay you?."

"By becoming the best An. People have noticed your talents so have I. It's time to let the bird fly."

"How about I still work for you."she said.

"An-"

"I can be in charge but still... I still want to work for you. I owe you my life."

I chuckled." That's a bit extreme Anna."

"If you haven't given me the opportunity to discover myself I wouldn't have been noticed."

"How about I can be your adviser. If you need any advice you can meet me."

She smiled "I would love that and I promise to be the one to plan your wedding."

I smiled." With all pleasure."

An hour later,I was back in my office with Derek and Ruth on the phone.

"So your saying that she has finally admitted to liking Seyi?." Ruth asked Derek.

"You guys realise I'm still here?" I said.

"I knew it." Ruth said excitedly as Derek nodded to her question.

"When did you guys become this close?." I asked.

"I really don't know. It just happened." Derek said.

"Well you guys make a lovely couple." I said.

Both Ruth and Derek face flushed.

They both looked like secondary school kids in love with each other.

And I thought of them marrying and a smile appeared on my face.

It was something worth watching happen.

I suddenly remembered the kiss I shared with Rasaq and the smile disappeared instantly.

"What's with the frown?" Derek observed.

"I kissed Rasaq." I blurted.

Ruth's jaw dropped and Derek looked confused.

"The man that left my office when you came." I explained to him and his mouth formed an 'o'

"How did that happen?." Ruth asked finally breaking out of our shock.

"Ola called of their relationship and he was feeling down and I was feeling down about the tweets and we both got into the moment and kissed. But I broke it of." I added.

"It's good that you broke it of." Derek said.

"Do I need to tell Ola?" I asked Ruth.

"Well considering the Ola presently it wise not to but it's better to tell her. Who knows whether she might find out about it."

I sighed. Another reason for her to hate me.

"I thought of Michael but I still kept on kissing him but once Seyi got into my mind... I couldn't. I broke the kiss." I said softly.

As I looked up to them both they both had a bright smile plastered on their faces.
