//"God damn it's too early for this," the omega muttered, before pinching the bridge of his nose.//

It was about half-way through his shift, it was a calm evening, not to many people, but not to little. The most complicated order today was probably a large Caramel Macchiato with five Splenda, two pumps of sugar, sweet cold foam, & four sweet & low. Honestly he was appalled hearing the order, but aside from that most orders were basic or easy.
"Joe," Faith said behind him.
"Huh," the omega jumped, turning around in the process
"Haha, scared you!" Faith chuckled "I was just wondering, what exactly happened last night when we told to go in the woods."
"I watched you jump out from behind a tree." Addison cut in as she walked over, standing next to Faith.
"Oh. Uh," He stuttered, struggling to answer the unexpected question. "Um I was just, taking small break?"
"Uh huh, you're a pretty bad liar,"
"I am not lying!"
"Gotcha, whatever floats your boat Joe." Faith waved as her and Addison walked towards the door, as they had just clocked out of their shift.
    'Oh god, why I am such a shitty liar' the omega facepalmed at the thought. At this point there was only around two hours left of his shift, wasn't many people working, just him and Kaleb. So Joesph took the initiative and took the trash out. It was just starting to get dark out, the sun was slowly setting into the horizon, while the moon was just peering out. With great haste, the boy made his way to the dumpster outside, he lifted the lid and threw the two black trash bags inside. The early autumn air was light and cool, a gentle breeze winding over his ears as he shut the lid. He sighed slowly, breathing in the cool evening air, the faint scent of sandalwood and cigarette smoke softly drifted into his nose. It reminded him almost of the night before, but along with those recent memories came older ones. Ones of his father, cigarette smoke constantly clung to his clothing, he wasn't a bad man, just misunderstood.
