    It was safe to say that he couldn't sleep that night, the flush on his face permanent as he thought about the earlier encounter.
He looked over to the alarm clock on his bedside table, it was about a quarter to 7a.m. He quickly sat up in his bed, shit, he had work today.

  He worked at one of those local Dunkin' Donuts inside of a nearby gas-station, having shifts from 7 a.m - 7 p.m was usually pretty good for him, considering the fact that he got up early most of the time. Though today was not one of those days. So without a second thought, Joseph quickly rubbed the sleep from his eyes, threw on a pair of shorts, and his favorite, clearly worn, Laconia T-shirt. Tying his leather combat boots, phone in hand, and rushed out the door.
Running there was the same as usual but he'd need to be quick about it, taking multiple short-cuts along the way, rushing to get there on time.
He ran up until he saw the gas station, then he briskly walked, out of breath,
Rushing in he saw his friends and or coworkers. He's known them for a few years now, since he was fourteen.
"Since when are you this late? Usually you're early," a voice was heard by the Dunkin's drivethru window, no one in site.
"Ya couldn't really sleep that well last night," Joesph said, looking to the side to see his coworker, Kaleb.
     "Oh that sucks," the beta replied before going back to counting the money in the tip-jar.
      Just about now is when Addison, Faith, and Ariel, another friend, should come and clock in, all just to end up slacking off and laughing their asses off at the stupidest of shit.  Which brings the manager to come yell at them, because Faith doesn't know how to quiet down.
      "Hey bitches and bros and non-binary hoes!" Two voices yell in sync.
      "God damn it's too early for this," the omega muttered, before pinching the bridge of his nose.
