What if Harry accidentally saw a show that would alter his view of Magic forever?
What if this single show opened Harry up to a new existence and, in turn, the Magical World will advance to a new Age...
The Age... Of Mechamagic.
And near the furnaces was an anvil, conveyor belt and a water bucket.
'If I didn't know any better I'd say I was in a Muggle Workshop'
I check the conveyor belt and see Runes in places wiring and electrical parts would normally be.
"I'll just assume that the rest has the same alterations, just like I designed in my mind" I smile, already in love with the room.
I knew that for the best end product I would need Muggle techniques and machines.
But electrical equipment is fried when it comes to Hogwarts so I needed to replace that stuff with Runes.
Wasn't too hard.
Mostly Force Runes were all I needed for things like the metal curve roller, metal press and conveyor belt.
I crack my neck and roll my shoulders.
"Let's get started, I'll work on a few smaller things first... The Gunblade first, since much of that project works with the bike"
I pull it parchment paper and began to sketch out my design, it'll be a single sided broadsword like shape with a few differences.
I also add in a small sketch of the gun form I know it'll take and get to work.

First I carve a few dozen pieces of wood into the shape I want.
That took a few tries since I'm doing it by hand.
I want to use as little magic in the beginning as I can.
Then once I pushed the pieces together to form the full shape and felt comfortable with my work I put them all in silicone rubber.
While those set I move to the next stage and get a large hunk of metal I put in a thick bucket and leave it in the fire, leaving the heat at a suitable temperature.
Hours pass before I realise it and I'm sweaty, hot, tired and in desperate need of a nice long soak in a bath.
But I've done the hard parts.
I ask for a bath and get cleaned up before returning to Gryffindor Tower.
---
The next afternoon I return to the Come and Go Room and begin the next part.
Rune Sketching.
For this I have to heat up iron pokers with the right Runes on the end and press them into the heat softened metal, a soldering iron of needle thin width making connections as needed.
Then I Enchant every last bit of it, the blade getting three.
Self Repairing, Sharpness and Mana Immunity.
Mana Immunity was one of my own creation, it literally makes any Magic not my own be neutralized.
But I could only make an Enchantment out of it.
So I can now cut spells with it.
Done with the blade, I move on to the gun portion.
I made the handle have a slight transfiguration part to turn about 35° between gun and sword modes.
But other than that the only difficult part was the core, since I plan to use this like a wand I needed a core.
Eventually I just use a drop of my blood on a marble sized piece of Merlin Stone and put the normal things for a wand in the gun.
Ollivander was super helpful.
And once I put it together I pushed my magic into it.
It was beautiful, I could feel the gun in every part, the sword blade, the internal parts, the Enchantments, the gun portion, it was an extension of my arm and as I watch it began to design itself.
No structural alterations, but cosmetically it changed to a nice royal purple, the energy canisters I put on it shortened and became streamlined but otherwise it was good to go.
I notice it's light, very light.
A few experimental swings let's me feel it's definitely different from what I wanted.
But in a good way.
A dummy appears in front of me and I smirk.
"Let's see what you can do"
I step forward and in a blink was in front of the dummy, swinging at it left shoulder to right hip.
Perfect slice, little to no resistance.
The dummy repairs before my eyes and I swing again and again, I lose focus on my surroundings, it's just me as the sword.
The sword and I.
My speed ramps up as I continue hacking and slashing, each slice reducing the dummy into two or three pieces.
I don't remember when the dummy began fighting back but at some point I was parrying and being parried at a speed beyond my visible capabilities.
Yet somehow I, or the sword knew exactly what to do, swinging and clashing with the dummy's powerful blows, our mirror blades sending sparks with every slam.
Finally I decapitate the dummy and fall to my knees, panting from exertion.
Like the night before I was covered in sweat and grime, slight burns from wherever the sparks landed on my skin but despite the pain I was staring at the blade in awe.
That felt...
Right.
Why does it feel right to fight like that?
I look at the sword I was fighting and see it was a hunk of extremely durable iron.
Repairing as I watch it.
I stand and shuffle to the table, laying the still heavy sword on the table and move to get some leather..
I am not going anywhere without it.
Not after that.
'Though I have to wonder... Will the rest of my creations be like that?'
I finish the holster, it being self Cleaning, Self Repairing and Ant-Summon Charmed.
And I call for another dummy.
With a thought the sword... No I got a better name...
The Gunblade's blade pulls apart in shards, retreating towards the handle to reveal a small thick as a pinky finger wide barrel poking from the end.
The top gets a scope since I plan for add-ons at some stage to enhance the gun mode.
And I aim, que up a Piercing Hex and pull the trigger.
The recoil was negligible but the spell pierced through the magic shield and physical set of armor I'd asked it to be put there too.
"I need to be careful with this, one wrong move and I'll kill someone" But despite the risk, I felt a large grin cross my face.
