Dear Sunny, of the Dragonets of Destiny.

My name is Hazel, of the LeafWings from Pantala. I'm sure you'll remember a few years ago when the survivors of the breath of evil fled to Pyrrhia for safety. I want to remind you again that we're forever grateful, and things are improving here. The Hives have been rebuilt and there's plenty more trees in our new LeafSilk Kingdom. But I'm getting off topic here, and if all goes well, you'll be seeing Pantala for yourselves soon anyway.

Now that we know the other continent exists, I wouldn't want us to lose contact. It has been a few years, but I'd like it if I could hold a big group meeting on my continent. Yes, I'd invite the Queens, but I'd consider it more of a... catch-up, if you will. After all, we're friends now, aren't we?

If it wouldn't be much trouble, I'd like to meet you and the Queens' selected groups by Scorpion bay in two weeks time. No need to bring much, we're prepared to host you ask for at least a few months. And besides, it would do good for the ah... new Pantalan generation to learn about you.

Hope to see you here soon, Princess Hazel.

P.s, Bring some Dragonets with you! Dusky and Bumblebee are a little lonely.

Sunny dropped the letter in excitement and squealed.

A moment later, Tsunami's head appeared from around the corner of her cave, and from the look on her face, she was just as hyped.

"You got the letter too?! Sunny yelled enthusiastically.

Tsunami grinned mischievously. "Not to brag, but I was the one who swam all the way there, so it makes sense she'd invite me personally."

Sunny squealed again. "But Nami, this is perfect! This is brilliant! This is exactly what I've dreamed of, friendship and coexistence with the other continent, it's meant to be, don't you see?! This is precisely what Pyrrhia needs, oh, I wonder who the Queens will invite?"

"Sunny, are you crying?" Tsunami asked.

"Maybe!"

Suddenly a new voice entered behind Tsunami; she yelped and turned to see Clay and Starflight edging in holding identical scrolls. A bright grin was plastered all over the MudWing's face, but Starflight's green eyes were glinting with worry. (Note that in this story, Starflight is not blind)

"Three moons, the co-ordination this is going to take..." He mumbled, just loud enough so that the other dragons could hear. "It's going to be a Nightmare, honestly...Half of Pyrrhia going to Pantala and leaving the tribes Queenless for months? ...Moons, oh, three moons..."

"Starflight." Tsunami placed her claws on his shoulder, and he looked up. "Stop worrying already, seriously! The Queens will have step-ins." The soothing looking on her face suddenly morphed into fiery determination. "Glory better come with us, or else I'll hunt her down myself, I swear."

Sunny laughed, partly because the look on Tsunami's face was hilarious, partly because she was just so overjoyed not to be laughing right then. "Let's go tell Glory! Please?" she shot a look at Clay, who beamed back.

"What do you mean, please?" Tsunami grinned. "I fully intend to anyway!"

"Maybe we can get all the Queens and anyone who wants to go to meet by the edge of the ice kingdom in three days time or something?" Starflight asked. "That way we could send a message out to all the Queens, they could broadcast it to their tribe, and we could get it all organised -"

"Star, you go do all your organising if it will make you feel better." Sunny said giddily.

"Aaaand the happiness has gone to your head." Tsunami chuckled, Clay nodded along.

"Maybe we can visit the Sky kingdom on the way, too?" He asked. "I know Peril's there catching up with her brother Sky, and she wouldn't want to miss this."

"Of course!"

There was a pause, before Tsunami yelled: "Well what are you waiting for?! Last one to the bottom of the mountain is a squid brain!" Before darting out of the room swiftly. Clay bundled out after her, and Sunny made her way to the exit too, calling behind her.

"Come on Starflight!"

"Guys, g-guys wait, we do have a school to run here -"

Starflight sighed as their tails disappeared behind the corridor. "Fine." He muttered reluctantly, then smiled. "I guess seeing Glory will be nice."

Outside the cave, a night-black and purple dragoness was waiting for him, hopping eagerly from toe to toe. "Starflight!" She cried as he stepped out of the room. "I finished filing the students' grades, they - Starflight?"

"Hey Fate, can you run the school for a bit whilst we go and see Glory? It's for something really important, I promise." He flashed her a quick smile before leaping off after all of the other dragons of destiny, leaving her alone and staring after him, stuttering.

"I- I mean, yeah, but... Starflight... what if I wanted to come with you...?" She asked herself, then shook her head.

"Fine, yeah, fine, I'm fine."

Fatespeaker turned into the cave and reluctantly picked up a book. True love's beat, it was called. Oh very ironic, universe. How ever so witty, she thought, and she sank into a beanbag in the corner and began to read.

On the plus side... She was looking forward to a trip to Pantala. And seeing all the new dragons with her own eyes... there was no doubt about it, this was going to be an incredible opportunity.

A short but sweet first chapter :)

Usually they'll have more of a structure than this, but I was a bit stuck for ideas here.

Soooo yes!
