He let out a long sigh"Natalie Mariella Davis,age seventeen years,home town Minnesota,parents Mr Luke Davis and Mrs Kaitlyn ,younger brother Cole Davis,had two awards in debate and one in poetry,and won the all Academy scholarship"he says in one breath.
I stand there,speechless
Wow,he really did some research..
"Wow Nate,since you know my name, quit calling me brownie understood?"with that I stand up and begin to walk away.
"Wait!"he says and I turn back."I'll leave"he says.
"Quit being nice,the bell will ring in five"I say and walk...
"Nerd"he mumbles.
"I heard that!!"I say with a smile on my face.
What is going on?.
I shook certain thoughts out of my head and walk towards the school building to catch up with a maybe flaming in anger Olivia.

I walk to my locker to see Liv waiting for me.
"Hell Natalie,where have you been?"she yells and pulls me into a way to tight hug.
"My poor eardrums"I say trying to change the topic.
"Don't you dare"she glares at me.
I know her so well.....
"The..... library?"I say pulling away from the hug.I need some freakin air.
"We went there,and you weren't there"she gives me a suspicious look.
"That must have been when I went to get something from Mrs Hall,involving the map"I lie.
She gives me a look to see if I were lying but luckily,she buys the lie.
Phew ......
"Let's get to class"she says and literally drags me away.
"Why is your hand sweaty?"she asks me rubbing my hands.
Was I nervous when I was talking to Nate?
Nah.
"Oh this,the books I carried were too heavy and dust was on them"I say with all seriousness.
"Okay"she smiles.
"Where's Jacob?"I ask wiggling my eyebrows.
She gives me an eye roll"his class?"she says trying to hide her blush..
"C'mon blush"I nudge her and she hit me on my hand.Letting out a quick laugh,we walk to our chemistry class that hopefully,I didn't have with Miller.Why did he change his schedule anyways?.
It's only a few minutes till the closing bell goes off.Im finally going home to binge on some Netflix with Liv.She is having study hall with her maybe boyfriend and I am here, paired with these ABCs.Events of this morning flash back.I was too busy that I didn't think about how wierd it would be when I get home;mom yelling and probably crying,dad giving stern looks,Cole rolling his eyes multiple times and poor little me, being the judge of it all.That little miss Liv would probably run upstairs and leave me there defenceless.Trust me when I say,it's happend more than a thousand times.
"Are you with us miss Davis?"Mrs Kevin asks with a small smile.
I had done it again, spacing out..
"Uhm....yes ma'am"I say looking down as I feel the temperature on my cheeks rise.
"What a trick"Camila scoffs.
"Silence miss Benjamin"Mrs K (Kevin) hisses"okay class,we have a few minutes till the bell goes off,so turn in your work I've given you"she orders and takes a seat on her sway chair.
After double checking my work,I am the first to turn in.Mrs K dashes me a smile and I did the same.I was just waiting for the bell to go off right now.I went through so much today.
Five minutes later,the bell finally rings and everyone cheerfully heads out.As everyone leaved,Mrs K hands them their paperwork.Some squeal,some groan,and some throw it away in the nearby dustbin.I head to the entrance and take my work from Mrs K.
90%...shoot,I knew that number three was digestion,not excretion.Well-
"Nat,can I have a word with you?"Mrs K asks and I move back so that the rest can walk out.I take the front seat near her and sit down nervously.
"Well,it's about your grades"she says and displays no emotion on her face.
"I-I know they're bad and I promise to do better and get more credits"I shutter.
She let out a short laugh"no Nat,in fact,your performance is beyond amazing"she smiles.
"Really?"I say clearly shocked myself.
"Yes,and you don't need to be in this level,you need to go higher.So I'll discuss with the principal tommorow about you joining the advanced class"she says.
I am so happy,I am short of words..
"Thank you so much Mrs K"I say with a huge smile on my face.
She nods before standing up and stretching her hands for a hug.I joyfully hug her and she plants a kiss on my forehead.
"Keep it up"she says rubbing my back lightly.
I nod my head and we stay like that for a few seconds.She pulls out and smiles"now go home"she says squeezing my shoulder and I walk back to the seat to grab my things...I wave her goodbye and walk down the hallway trying to cover up my happiness.
Mom will be so proud to hear this from me...
I walk towards the parking lot and find Liv waiting for me.
"What took you so long?"she asks opening her car.
"Olivia Adriana Dawns,we need to celebrate"I spin her around"now let's go stock up our snacks before heading home"I say and jump into the car.Liv smiled and drovoe out.
My day started like trash,but ended with joy.
What a day..
