"Yeah, I'm getting my luggage from the airport." I said as the familiar surroundings greeted me. I was on phone with my best friend Mandy. I had arrived from medical scholarship in New York last week and accidentally I had taken someone's bag, not mine. In order to have it I had had to get here.

"Okay then, are you up for a party later?" she asked.

"Sure, I'm in. Is Amanda going too?" I replied.
I couldn't hear her answer as I felt someone bumping into me. I used my left hand to help myself but the impact was too hard. I was on the ground in one second. The pain shot through my limbs. I ignored and looked up. There was this handsome guy right in front of me. His eyes were brown and hair blonde. He was muscular, had a blue shirt and black jeans on with his leather jacket hanging on his shoulder. I waited for him to give me a hand, but he just stared at me with annoyed look.

"Watch where you are going." I snapped as I stood up embarrassed and took my belongings.

"Well I should be the one saying that, sweetheart." he replied nonchalantly with a smirk on his face.

"I'm sorry for him. He just can't behave around pretty girls like you." other voice said. I saw these two guys, who probably were his friends. They were handsome too, but not as much as him.

"No, it's not this, it's just irritating when someone throw themselves at you." hottie rolled his eyes. I chocked on the air.

"What the fuck. It is not my fucking fault that you are not careful. I'm in a hurry, so excuse me." I spoke and left them. I made my way to the office and received my bag. After that I got to the car. Good thing I had gotten here with my friend Drew, because my hand was so sore that I couldn't drive. He had brown hair and eyes, was handsome and cool. I really liked him. I had known him since I was a child, because our mums were very close.

"Hey. How did it go?" Drew greeted me with a smile as he started the car.

"It was okay, I think I broke my hand though." I cried looking at it.

"How?" he asked shocked.

"Well I collided with this asshole and I did something to my hand when I was falling. He didn't even say sorry. Absolutely nothing." I answered.

"Oh, shit. Such a dick. Should I beat him?" his overprotective mode was turned on. Drew always took care of me, Mandy and Amanda.

"No, no need, I don't even know him." I shrugged.

"Do you want me to take you to the hospital?" my friend offered.

"Yes, please. They have to do an X-ray so I know if it broken or just dislocated." I told him. After a few minutes he stopped the car in front of the huge building. Drew opened doors for me and helped me find a doctor Vanessa Finnegan.

"Hello. How can I help you?" she welcomed us.

"Well I fell on my hand and it hurts. I think it's dislocated since it only hurts and it hasn't swollen or anything." I informed. She examined my limb for a while.

"It's probably dislocated, but we should do a X-ray, so we can be sure." doctor announced and showed us way to the room. I got in making my friend wait for me. Vanessa instructed me what to do and I followed her orders. After it was done I could see that my hand wasn't broken, it was dislocated. Medical worker gave me a hand and after a few seconds I had a bandage wrapped around my injured wrist. We thanked her and went out.

"Are you going to this party?" Drew questioned.

"Yeah... Shit, I forgot to call Mandy!" I shouted throwing myself in the air as it was my weird habit.

"Don't worry, I called her when you were gone". he claimed with a wide grin. I knew he had a thing for her. She didn't want to date him since it would ruin their friendship and then it would affect our friendship. That was what she had said. In my opinion Maddison was just scared, she wasn't good at being in a relationship, she loved going out with boys. My friend was pretty carefree. Drew wanted something stable, not a partner for a while. I kept my fingers crossed for both of them, because they were absolutely perfect for each other.

"How's things with her?" I asked.

"Well, I don't actually know, to be honest. I'm trying, seriously, I'm doing my best, Acacia. It's just something about her what wouldn't let her be with me for fuck's sake!" he dramatically hit the steering wheel.

"Drew, calm the fuck down. Just wait for her, she has to realize some things. Give her time. Maddy is worth it I swear." I reassured and put my hand on his shoulder and smiled. He just took a deep breath and parked on my driveway.

"What time should I pick you up? It starts at 7." my friend questioned. It was 5;40.

"Well just in an hour I think." I answered as I got off.

"Okay, see you." He yelled. I waved and approached my house. I walked in and headed to the kitchen. I saw a note on the fridge. It said:

Hey, sunshine. Me and your dad are going to be home pretty late because we are hanging out with your grandparents. There is pizza in the fridge, eat it if you're hungry.
Love,
Mum & Dad

I quickly took the food and put it in the oven. I had to wait a couple of minutes so I jogged upstairs to my room. I changed into a black, strapless crop-top and high-wasted jeans with holes on the knees. I got back to eat my dinner. I loved pizza. As I finished I put the dish in the sink and walked to the bathroom. I applied mascara, eyeliner and eye shadows. Then i put bronzer on my cheeks. I let my wavy, blond hair to fall down. When I was done I sat on the couch in the living room and started looking through my phone. After a few minutes I heard someone knocking on the door so I took my purse and leather jacket and left home.
