AwstenPOV I walked into my chemistry class and sat down in my usual seat. Everyone had their own little clicks but I had Otto and Geoff (ik Otto went to a different high school, but for this chapter he doesn't)
Only Geoff was in this class though. "Hey." Geoff said sitting down next to me. "What's up." I said looking at him. "There's a new girl." Geoff stated wiggling his eyebrows at me. I smacked him and rolled my eyes. "You know she won't look my way." I mumbled.
"Than that's her loss" Geoff said patting my back. "You're such a dad." I replied. Geoff rolled his eyes.
"Alright time to shut it and listen up." Mr thorn said hitting a ruler against his wooden rusty desk. "We have a new student, please welcome mrs y/n." My eyes moved to a girl with long wavy h/c (hair color) she had strips of purple mixed in as well. Her eyes were bright green. She was wearing black skinny jeans, a fall out boy shirt, the album cover for "from under the cork tree" was on the front. Her black doc martens looked worn out. She smiled softly and waved.
"Please go sit somewhere in the room." Her eyes moved to me. She stopped in her track for a second and started walking over to me and Geoff. "Y/n!" A girl shouted. She turned her head and smiled. As she walked towards the girl, Sophie.
"She won't look my way" Geoff whispered putting air quotes around she won't look my way. "Shut up." I said.
Y/N pov. "What was that about?" Sophie asked rolling her eyes. "Huh?" I mumbled. "You almost sat with the band boys?" She asked. Her long red hair stuck in front of her face. She pushed a strand behind her hair.
"So? They seem cool." "Mhm." Sophie said. I rolled my eyes and ignored her quick remarks. The bell rang I stood up. "What are you doing?" Sophie asked. "Making friends." I stated.
I made my way over to the boy with brown and bleached blonde hair. His back was turned to me. He stood with two other boys. One with curly hair and the other with longish layered hair. The boy with curly hair noticed me first. He waved. "Hi, I'm y/n!" I said smiling. "You're the new girl right? I'm Otto and this is Geoff!" Otto said pointing at the other boy with long layered hair.
Geoff elbowed the last boy. His face flushed red a bit He looked taken back at first.
"Hi. I'm awsten." He said softly. His eyes trailed down to my shirt. "You like fall out boy?" He asked me. "Yeah, I love fall out boy. I could talk about them for hours without getting bored." I said smiling widely. He smiled and added a "me too." Geoff patted awstens back and walked away with Otto. "What's your favorite album?" I asked. "I love take this to your grave even thought it's their first." Awsten said not breaking eye contact. "Nice, you can tell my favorite based on the shirt." I said as he laughed. My heart fluttered a bit.
