Start from the beginning

Sora gawks at her brother, "How did you even get this?"

"Minho AirDropped it to everyone in our boarding house last night," Riki takes back his phone and re-pockets it with a shrug, "No biggie."

Everyone?!

No biggie?!

"Ugh - of course it was Seok Minho!" Sora rolls her eyes, "That guy's the biggest shit-stirrer on campus!"

Sujin frowns, "Who's Seok Minho?"

"I envy the fact that you even need to ask that." Sunoo drawls, diverting his gaze toward the other side of the cafeteria and urging Sujin to follow suit, "See that guy over there? Sitting across from Sunghoon?"

Sujin cranes her neck backward, humming in confirmation. The boy is only a little taller than Sunghoon, with broad shoulders and a muscular physique that shows even beneath his school blazer. His dark hair is parted in the middle, features chiseled, eyes slanted and fox-like. There's a certain buffoonish air of confidence radiating from him as he cracks some sort of joke that has the entire table of jocks and their accompanying cheerleaders laughing.

"Just another big name on campus," Sora waves a hand dismissively, "He's on every single sporting team we have, I'm pretty sure. Not much going on up in the brain cell department... but I think you know by now that it doesn't matter too much over here when you've got that handsome of a face and daddy's credit card on your side."

Sunoo snickers, "Seok Minho is a boss level himbo."

Sujin lets out a laugh at the boy's terminology.

As he, Sora, Riki and Jungwon move on to another topic of conversation, she allows her gaze to linger on the jocks' table.

Jay is sitting next to Sunghoon, stealing bites of pudding from what's left of the boy's lunch. Sujin doesn't miss the way Sunghoon immediately catches him in the act, smacking his hand away with a chastising tut.

Boys... Always so damn predictable.

A couple of places over, Jake sits all the way back in his seat, arms folded over his chest as he listens intently to a story being told by the person across from him. He and Chaeyoung have made up from their argument yesterday, by the looks of things, as she adjusts the tie around his neck with an airy giggle.

Ew.

With the slightest flick of her perfectly-curled hair over her shoulder, Chaeyoung meets Sujin's distasted stare from across the cafeteria. Immediately, her expression hardens to one of pure hatred.

She mouths something indistinct to Sujin from such a distance - though she's sure it's something along the lines of, 'Quit staring, bitch!' - before leaning over the table and sparking up a conversation with her own friends, of which Sujin is also quite sure has something to do with her as well.

The accompanying glowers and less-than-discrete side eyes she receives from the gaggle of cheerleaders only further confirm her suspicions.

Caught in the act of staring? Rookie mistake. Sujin pitifully chastises herself as she redirects her gaze to the half-finished plate of food in front of her.

She can only imagine what sorts of things are spreading like wildfire about her at this present moment - not to mention the video now tucked away in everybody's camera rolls.

Blame it on pure paranoia, but Sujin starts to feel as if all eyes in the cafeteria are now on her... fleeting whispers of "Have you heard?" and equally judgemental gazes piercing through her personal space. Her heart rate begins to pick up, and her palms go clammy. The walls of the cafeteria feel like they're caving in around her, getting closer and closer until-
