Sora reaches over her plate to give both of her friends a smack on the wrist, causing all three of them to burst into fits of laughter.
Meanwhile, all their commotion has caught the attention of none other than Riki and Jungwon - who have just emerged from the cafeteria line with their own trays of food in hand. Spotting Sujin sitting across from his sister, Riki immediately drops whatever conversation he and his best friend were previously in to make a beeline for their table. Jungwon follows suit with a knowing sigh.
That Riki... He thinks to himself with a chuckle, always had the attention span of a fly.
"Han Sujin, my hero!"
Sujin's head snaps up at the sudden exclamation to be met with a view of the younger Nishimura sibling barrelling towards her at an alarming speed.
"Uh..." Her features scrunch in mild confusion, "Nice to see you too?"
Skipping past any form of an introductory greeting, Riki slides into the seat next to her with a roguish glint in his eyes.
"Did you seriously beat Chaeyoung's ass yesterday?!"
Sora flicks her brother on the forehead with a tsk, "You're so nosey, Riki!"
"I prefer the term curious." He counters matter-of-factly, prying her hands away, "And you're acting like it's not the only thing the whole school is talking about right now! Have you seen the video?"
"There's a video?!" Sujin's jaw goes slack.
"More like ten going around the student body as we speak, actually." Jungwon unhelpfully offers. He quickly masks the bemused smile curling at his lips upon seeing the girl's face fall at the statistic, "... Give or take."
"Hold on, let me pull it up." Riki fishes his phone out of his back pocket, tapping away furiously at the screen before brandishing it to Sujin with a grin, "Ta-da!"
Sujin's eyes nearly bulge out of their sockets at the video playing before her. Indeed, it's showing the entire catfight between herself and Chaeyoung playing out in the middle of the gym. But looking back on it from an outsider's perspective, Sujin starts to feel an overwhelming urge to hide under the table and never come back out. Like, ever.
Their screams are so much louder than she remembers, their hits harder and the fight itself longer. She can't even bring herself to continue watching until the end of the video, so she buries her face in her hands with an embarrassed whine.
"God, Riki - get that out of my face!" She swats his phone away from her eyeline in horror.
"But we haven't even reached my favorite part!" Riki mock-pouts, holding the phone closer to his ear with a giggle, "'Oh, shut up, you self-righteous little shit!'"
"I can't believe you have that memorized." Sunoo deadpans, shaking his head at the younger boy's antics.
"Memorized?! I'd get it tattooed on my forehead if I could!" Riki howls, "Sujin, seriously - you're a living legend for this."
Sujin feels anything but a living legend right now, but accepts the boy's words nonetheless with a sigh of half-acknowledgement.
"Thanks... I guess."
Sora snatches the phone out of Riki's hand, her curiosity getting the better of her and replaying the video for herself and a similarly wide-eyed Sunoo. The two of them react to the clip with matching 'Ooh's, 'Ahh's, and the occasional wince every time a particularly hard hit is thrown.
"Damn," Sunoo suppresses a laugh. Although he had watched the scene take place in the flesh, seeing it played back only reminds him just how bad it actually was, "You really did beat her ass."
