"Ola.." ruth says rising up from the chair.

"I don't know if the others have given you their piece of mind about yesterday's incident but I want to give my own."

I rolled my eyes." I don't care about your opinion. " I deadpanned.

"If you like care, don't care. I'll still talk my mind." She came closer to me." You really surprised me Ola. Saying all those hurtful words to Osas, aren't you ashamed of yourself eh ?. Accident that wasn't Osas fault you put the blame on her that shows how dumb and childish you are...."

It's better to let her talk. After all these lawyers in Nigeria are just best in doing that.

"Which boss ?. You can't even handle the problems in the company your calling yourself the boss. For your information the real boss is Seyi and I get to talk to you Any how I like cause this is not a work area or related issue."

I let out a bitter laugh." The Seyi that your  calling the boss will soon steal your girlfriend oh. Upon I told you what happened yesterday your still hear defending this.. thing. She will break your heart oh Michael."

"Aren't you ashamed of yourself." Ruth said.

I rolled my eyes." Don't you have something better to be doing. Aren't you meant to be looking for a man that would accept you after your husband left you for a better lady. I don't actually blame him for doing -"

"That's enough Ola !" Osas snapped.

"Ah ah. Why are you Na shouting?".

Osas stepped closer to me." You have no right to come into my house and insult any of my guest Ola. It's me you came to insult so insult me and not them but as a matter of fact. I don't even want to hear what you have to say just get out of my house"

Osas tone was firm. She hasn't been this firm with me. Ever.

I clenched my fist tightly. " Don't call me that."

"Your not acting like an Adebayo, Ola. This is not how dad trained you and it's a shame."

Temper raged.

"You claim to care for dad but see one thing between both of us I'm more as a daughter to him tham you'll ever be. Dr Marx is also my father and there is absolutely nothing you can do about it."
