Being married to someone deaf isn't always the easiest.
But Remus and Sirius always figure it out.
Sirius gasps and giggles slightly when he feels Remus' long slender arms around him, he turns to make sure Remus sees his face.
"Date tonight?"
Sirius watches as Remus' eyes dart down to his lips to read them, and then he nods kissing Sirius' cheek.
Remus walks over to the kitchen and sits on the counter, Sirius moves towards him standing between his legs.
Remus moves his hands slowly in sign language, keeping it simple and precise. Sirius is still learning.
"Chinese tonight 7?" Remus says slowly with his hands, Sirius blushes and signs a simple yes back.

Sirius walks into their bedroom to get ready for their date, seeing Remus brushing his curls out by the mirror.
"Looking gorgeous."
Remus grins and opens his mouth to try to speak. Sirius nods with encouragement.
Remus has been in speech therapy for the last two years, Sirius can't understand how hard it must be.
Remus says thank you slowly, but signs that Sirius looks extremely hot and that he wants to *18+ content here* once they get home.
Sirius blushes and kisses his lips gently before getting dressed.
Once they make it to the restaurant they are giggling and sharing secret glances as if they're still young and in love.
Sirius talks about his day whilst Remus lip reads carefully, occasionally laughing or slipping in a comment with sign.
Sirius watches as Remus signs, noticing how slow he signs for Sirius compared to when he's speaking with someone else who is deaf, Remus is so talented.
The night ends in dessert and pecks on the cheek as they exit the restaurant hand in hand.
But their date isn't quite over yet, they end the night in cuddles and a movie with the captions on (like always in the Lupin-Black household).
"I love you." Sirius says after turning Remus' face to look at him.
Remus blushes and signes I love you back.
