Once upon a time, long long ago, there once stood a tower. Hidden among trees and vines, hiding between the mountains.
But, you see, this wasn't an ordinary tower. Some could say it was a prison or so to speak. There was no exit or entrance to the tower, simply a singular stone window. Wasn't too large, not quite small. Around the height of a small child, possibly around the age of seven. And the width of the window was simply double the height.
Some will say the tower doesn't exist, or use it as an excuse to scare young children into behaving. No one knows where it even is, or if it is simply a fable.
Like it was said before, this isn't a normal tower, when people were locked away in this nameless tower, they would often go insane. When this happened they would eventually long for nothing more than to leave the tower. Eventually jumping from the window in the midst of their own madness.
All their insanity and thoughts of evil dissipated almost in an instant, the moment they began their descent down the tower. As if, the gravity pulling them all down to their deaths no longer existed. All their fears had disappeared, the moment before they had hit the ground, it can be said, they looked truly happy.
But then they died. What a tragic way to die don't you think? Or pitiful if that's how you see it. You might also be wondering, "Why is this story starting off like some old fairytale?" or "This is quite a boring thing. Who cares about these unknown people and some silly tower?"
Then again, I must say this story isn't about the people from the tower back then, but the people in the tower currently. Before you start asking anymore questions, I think it's time to start the real story.
