"Are you just sore? Or achy as well?" I asked, feeling her forehead and neck. "And did you make the tea for your throat like I suggested?"

"No, Fallon was rushing me this morning- I didn't have time. But I'm fine."

"Honeybeee," my voice held a bit of a whine. Lauren looked at me while biting her lip. "Your ass is drinking the damn tea tonight, I'm not playing with you-"

"Baby, I'm finee," she laughed in defense, soon grabbing my hand so I'd stop inspecting her to make sure. She pecked my knuckles before meeting my eyes. "It's always challenging to get back into the swing of things when you've been out for a while, but I'm okay... Okay?"

While narrowly gazing into her eyes, I eventually relaxed my body a bit before leaning forward to kiss her forehead. A wet hand then went to my cheek and guided my lips to hers. She kissed me once, then twice, and paused before connecting our lips one last time, soon lowering her hand.

Drawing back to roll up the sleeves of my linen button down, I reached for the body wash and loofah. I sat them down for a second to tie my straight hair up into the clip I had on my linen pants.

Then, holding out a flat hand over the bubbles, my fingers wiggled and she raised a leg from the water to put there. It went on like that until her entire body had been covered in suds then rinsed off with the detachable faucet.

As she stood, letting the water smoothly cascade down her bare body, I went to grab her towel off the hook that was near the walk-in shower. Once coming back to face her, I opened it for her to step out into. The water splashed as she took out one foot after the other, then she kissed me when I wrapped the towel around her.

"Will you give me a massage, please?" she whispered against my lips.

"Mhm," I kissed her one more time, giving a peck to her cheek before walking away. "You're still drinking the tea tonight though."

Lauren whined a miniature fit that made me giggle on my way to the bathroom door. "But Emerald it tastes awfulll-"

"That's too damn bad Michelle, you're not about to get sick on me," I laughed, now greeting Bella with a wide smile as soon as I entered the bedroom and she ran to me. "Hiii mama's babyy, I've missed youuu."

Omniscient POV:

"Alright, so this is a five bedroom, six bath. It also has a private walk-in pantry that's sort of hidden in the kitchen area, a theater room, a pool room, a full attic, and a sunroom."

Sade flashed an excited smile toward her fiancé as they followed the female realtor.

Lauren chuckled. "I think she wants to see the sunroom first," she said to the woman once she'd finished the house's layout and turned to them. "If you don't mind."

"Oh no, of course- we can start wherever you two would like. Right this way," she said.

Hand in hand, they strolled behind the short petite women once again, awing at the rest of the house on their way to the sunroom.

"Baby this house is absolutely gorgeous," Lauren commented, looking around.

"I think this is the one," Sade smiled in agreement, but Lauren chuckled at her. "What?"

"Emerald, you literally said that about the last one, and we haven't even seen the entire house yet."

"Hey man, I was sold just off the front yard-" Lauren snickered, shaking her head as they entered the room. "Shit was straight out of painting..."

"Alright, here we are," the woman announced, turning her attention to them again and smiling at their reactions. "This room is honestly one of my personal favorites in this house- I told my husband, we couldn't buy another home without a sunroom that looked like this-"

"Tuh- I could definitely see why," Lauren trailed. The three of them chuckled while making their way around the rather spacious sunlit room. "This is insane-"

"When I tell you, I'd be in here everyday... Forget work, I can retire-" The woman laughed as Lauren simply smiled and shook her head at her fiancé's comment, knowing better than to believe her.

"It has a door as well," she continued. "Along with the view of the spacious backyard and built in pool."

"And how much land is this again?" Sade asked.

"Right in between three and five acres," the woman said, making both their eyebrows raise impressively. "It's a lot, yeah," she chuckled at their faces.

"Honeybee, I'm telling you, this is the one," Sade told her fiancé as they followed the woman to the backyard from the sunroom. "I don't even need to see the next one."

"Hell, I'm right there with you," Lauren chuckled.

And after about two hours of discussing their options, the couple kept to their word. Though Sade had said she was fine with waiting a day or two just to be sure, Lauren told the woman to go ahead and bring them the papers.

Every five minutes, she'd whisper to Lauren with an adorable smile, how much she loved this or that about the house. So, Lauren saw no point in waiting when Sade obviously wanted this one.

"I can't believe this," Sade smiled with her arms crossed over her fiancé's shoulders as Lauren held her close by the waist. Gazing lovingly at her, Lauren drew a hand up to swipe hair behind Sade's ear. "We're really buying a house, together..."

"We are," Lauren smiled back.

"And we're getting married in seven months..."

"We are," Lauren nodded before leaning in to peck her lover's lips. "I love you Emerald."

"I love you more," she whispered before deepening the kiss, bringing her hands in to cup Lauren's cheeks while doing so.
