"It's going well, isn't it?" Jungkook remarked, his voice filled with a mix of excitement and satisfaction. "The concept is great, and the location couldn't be better."

His manager nodded in agreement,  "You're doing amazing out there, Jungkook. Your poses are on point."

Jungkook's eyes sparkled with gratitude. "Thanks, Jae-hyun hyung. I want this collaboration to be a success, despite everything."

Jae-hyun's eyes flickered between Taehyung and Jungkook, and he couldn't help but let curiosity get the better of him.

Leaning in closer to Jungkook, he lowered his voice to a conspiratorial whisper. "Jungkook, what do you think Taehyung looks like under that mask? I mean, do you think he's handsome or... not?"

Jungkook took a moment to study Taehyung, his gaze penetrating the enigma that was the masked billionaire.

He then turned his attention back to Jae-hyun, a mischievous glint in his eye. "Honestly, hyung, who knows? But I figure if he's going to all this trouble to hide his face, he must not be much to look at."

They both shared a soft chuckle,

The photo shoot had finally concluded, and Jungkook was relieved to exchange his elegant gown for comfortable pajamas once he returned to his mansion.

He settled into his room, the soft glow of his movie casting flickering shadows on his face as he hoped to unwind and escape into a film after the day's hectic schedule.

As he became engrossed in the movie, the sudden intrusion of a maid disrupted his solitude.

" Mr Jungkook, Mr kim is coming and Mr jeon wants you to be ready."

She bore news that Taehyung was en route and that Mr. Jeon had requested Jungkook to prepare himself for an impending meeting. The maid's words hung in the air as she left the room, leaving Jungkook with a heavy sigh, his plans for a relaxing evening thwarted.

Another thirty minutes passed, and the same maid returned, her demeanor more insistent this time. She informed Jungkook that Taehyung had arrived, and Mr. Jeon wants Jungkook to join them downstairs. Jungkook let out another sigh, as if reluctant to relinquish his temporary sanctuary.

Disregarding the maid's advice about his attire, Jungkook displayed an air of nonchalance, as if uninterested in making a good impression. He pushed himself off the bed with an indifferent demeanor, and with slow, measured steps, he began his descent to meet with Taehyung and his father, a sense of reluctance palpable in the air.

Jungkook, wearing the same pajamas he had donned earlier, made his way to the living room. Without much ado, he slouched onto the sofa, arranging himself in a relaxed manner. One leg rested comfortably on the sofa's cushion while the other dangled to the floor, his posture the epitome of indifference.

Taehyung and Mr. Jeon, however, exchanged perplexed glances as they observed Jungkook's nonchalant demeanor.

Mr. Jeon couldn't help but voice his concerns. "Jungkook, why haven't you changed your clothes? Taehyung is here and you should show some respect."

Jungkook, still uninterested, met his father's gaze and retorted with a hint of defiance in his voice, "I didn't want to change. And if you keep asking me these questions, I might just leave."

Before Mr. Jeon could address the situation, Taehyung intervened, his voice smooth and composed. "It's alright, Mr. Jeon. Jungkook has had a long day."

Mr. Jeon's gaze lingered on Jungkook for a moment, a mix of disappointment and frustration in his eyes. However, he quickly shifted his focus to Taehyung and assumed a more welcoming demeanor.

With a polite smile, Mr. Jeon began to speak, "I've considered the wedding date, and I propose that it should be on the 20th of September. That gives us two weeks to prepare. Do either of you have any objections or concerns about this arrangement?"

Jungkook's expression remained stoic, his indifference only growing as the topic of his impending marriage was discussed.

After a tense moment of contemplation, both Taehyung and Jungkook reluctantly nodded in agreement to Mr. Jeon's proposed wedding date. The decision had been made, and the impending wedding was now set for the 20th of September.

As the meeting concluded, Jungkook, feeling the weight of the situation, wordlessly turned to leave. He slipped into his slippers, his expression still heavy with indifference, and made his way outside the grand house.

Once in the open air, he fished a cigarette from his pocket and placed it between his lips. With his lighter poised to spark the flame, he was startled by a sudden flicker of light. Taehyung stood there, his own lighter igniting the cigarette before Jungkook could even react.

A charged silence hung in the air.
