"Dr Marx ! How is your health?." Stella the nurse chirped as we strolled into the hospital.

"I'm better now. How is Osas?" He had a smile on his face.

"She's doing better sir."

Can't she just die already. I muttered under my breath.

"What did you say Ola?".

"Oh. I.. I uhm. I said great. She's doing better, Great."

Stella flashed me an evil stare.

Hate me all you want stella. My dad's health matters to me the most.

"Let's go check on her then."

We headed to the room.

"Your around?". Dad asked as we entered the room.

Seyi was standing by the side of the bed. He was still dressed in his outfit of yesterday.

Did he stay with Osas throughout the night?.

"Good morning sir." Seyi greeted dad and nodded half hearterdly to me which I nodded back.

I wonder if I finally get sacked now. I sighed.

"Good morning dad." Osas said and i glared at her.

She avoided my gaze.

"How's my sweety doing?." He came closer to her and rubbed her head softly.

"Feeling better now. I'm sorry for worrying you." She said softly.

"It's okay. Just don't try that ever again."

"I told her that." Seyi said.

"Why are you exactly doing here. Your not her part of her family or friends." I said to Seyi.

I might as well get fired right now.

"I believe Seyi is more as a family as you will ever be." Osas said.

"I'm not taking to you princess."

"That's enough Ola."

"Me? I wasn't even talking to her in the first-"

"I said enough." Dad tone increased.

"Sorry." I said to dad.

"Save it for later." He said. " Both of you are my daughters. You both are sisters so act like one. I'm going to talk to Seyi outside for some minutes." He motioned for Seyi and he left.

"I'm sorry. I didn't mean what I said." Osas apologized.

I scoffed." I did. I meant every single word I said. If you want to help dads health, die. I assure you his health will get better."

"Why do you hate me Ola ?. It wasn't my fault that mom died. It was a car accident."

"Why didn't you die with her then. Why did you live and her die. Your real family all died but you just have to live to."

Osas was silent.

"What happened. The cat got your tongue?."

She smiled at me." No matter what you think of me, I'll always take you as my sister even if it's not by blood."

"Whatever." I leaned on the wall. " Why did Seyi stay with you the whole night."

She shrugged "he wanted to. I guess."

"Does Michael know ?."

The look on her face told me the answer." He can't know."

"Why?". I asked. An evil thought already creeping into my mind.

"He might take it the other way."

"So something happened between you both huh?."

He face flushed." No. Nothing. His engaged. Remember?".

"Oh, I remember." I said softly.

I remember it all.

"Keeping secrets from Micheal isn't the best way to start your relationship."

"It's only this time."

"And what if he finds out?."

"He won't. Cause you won't tell him right?. Promise me Ola that you won't tell him. "

I smiled." Although I don't like you, I can't let Michael get hurt so I won't tell him. I promise."

"Thanks." She heaved a sigh of relief.

Promises are meant to be broken after all.

The door opened and Dad entered alone.

"Seyi had gone home." He faced Osas. " He said you should get better and he will call you later today."

"Okay." Osas said but there was a cloud of sadness on her face... And it was gone.

Things are going to get exciting alright!!.
