I sit in anger until I can't handle it anymore. I go to my new vanity and put on heavy makeup. I look at myself in the mirror, a strong girl looks back at me. Her name is Ghost. Ghost is a strong, gorgeous, amazing person. She smirks as she gazes at her reflection.
I'm not Aurelia anymore but I am Ghost. And she is thirsty for a fight. I carefully open the window, just enough for me to slide out. I carefully plant my feet onto the roof. I memorized all the blind stops of cameras and schedules of the guards recently. I leave the window slightly open for when I get back home.
I sneak behind bushes, poles and corners as I slip past all the guards. I crawl under a fence and grin when I see a bike. I gained a lot of weight and I feel much more strength then I had before I came and I used to mostly fight by tactics and outsmarting the opponent but now I am fighting with a full stomach.
I recently found a well known fighting club near here and I have been wanting to visit it for a while. I have been planning a way to escape for a while now, it isn't fool proof so I am going based on luck of not being caught. I hope my brothers don't come to my room or need me because I won't be there and that would be a awkward conversation and I don't want them knowing this. They seem to like how innocent I've been so far.
I drop the bike behind a small forest when I see the bus. I paid the small fee and hopped on. The bus smelled funky but nothing I wasn't accustomed to. Adrenaline floods into me when I think about fighting. I check the time, it's two-twenty.
I stand up letting a pregnant lady take my seat. I give her a smile before stepping off the bus. I have to walk a mile or two turning into an alleyway. The entrance is hidden but is found easily if you did your research.
I walk right in. I scan my surroundings, classy ladies and intimidating men stand around. I don't pay them any mind and go straight through the hallway entering a dark but neon lit room where a ring is settled in the middle. I go up to the second floor looking for the announcer.
" I want to fight." I say, inspecting the bald middle aged man. He pauses before glancing me up and down. He chuckles
" What is a girl like you doing here?" he raises an eyebrow giving me a funny glance. " It's not safe here for you."
" Put me down as Ghost."
" If you say so, don't say I didn't warn you. Round 13" He says with a smug face pointing his pencil towards a door.
I don't reply but head to where he pointed. I grimace when the smell of blood and sweat hits me. A room full of women is here getting ready, either stretching or putting on makeup. Many much older than me.
I tie my hair up and stretch. I curse myself for not bringing clothes to change into. I take off my shirt leaving me in my sports bra, good enough. I look into the mirror again. Ghost is looking good.
I leave to watch all my possible other opponents fight. I find a seat and stay silent as everyone around me yells with loud cheers. I tap my finger on my lap as I watch them fight.
" Aren't you too young to be here?" A voice comes from the seat beside me. I turn to see a man with dark hair with light eyes stare back at me. He's dressed nice, in a tailored suit and pants. A man who seems like he is around the same age as me.
" Same goes for you" I respond, he tilts his head inspecting me. Something about this is making me nervous. I try not to show it but he noticed the shift of my expression.
Your Ghost right now
I tilt my head back at him. He looks oddly familiar. " Who are you? " I ask trying to talk in a confidence tone.
" Blaze" Now where have I heard this name from? I hum in acknowlegment before turning back to the ongoing fight. It's almost my turn. I freeze when I see Lucien in the distance.
" Who owns this club?" I say gripping onto the arm rest, which Blaze just looks at me confused with my sudden change of demenor. " Who owns this club?" I repeat more harshly when he doesn't answer.
" The American mafia." My heart skips a beat. I knew I should've have done more research. I just hope Lucien won't recognize me under all this heavy makeup. I curse myself, I'm such a dumbass.
I get up, I have a few minutes before I'm in the ring and If I don't want to die I need to get myself together. I dismiss Blaze's stares and attempt to get back my confident composure back.
I'm put in a room with a man, he's all smug seeing how his opponent is me. Oh I'm so excited to rip that smug smile off his face. This reminds me of when I first started fighting, people always looked down on me before they saw what I could do.
" Round 13!" We both enter the ring where we are now visible to everyone who are watching. " Fire vs Ghost!!" The announcer screams and the crowd cheers, men looks at me with malicious intent. I roll my eyes.
My opponent stares me down and I do the same. The announcer counts down and he lunges at me. I step aside. He runs at me again intending to punch me but I don't give him the chance. I step to the side and I turn directly behind him all in a sharp movment. I curled my fingers into a fist and I aim directly at the back of his head not my full force but enough to hurt. I kick the back of his knees. He turns, holding his head. He tries to punch me but his weak form only allows him slap me.
I smirk before backing up. Let's see what he can do. We both circle each other. I let him start off again, he tries to punch and kick me but I dodge all of them.
" You dirty slut" he hisses, typical men with fragile egos. I smirk, I catch his fist mid punch and push it back making him stumble back. I don't let him have time to re-balance himself when I start firing punches after punches at him. He punched me in the chest, it pushed me back a bit but I didn't let that stop me. I ignore the pain and punch him straight in the jaw, instantly knocking him out.
I ignore the pain shooting up my body and look up at the crowd " Anddd Ghost wins!" The announcer exclaims, masking his surprise. The crowd cheeres. I blow a kiss to the crowd and walk off.
