Misunderstood

chapter 3

Tiwa's pov:

   "Tiwa that useless friend of yours is waiting for you outside" Tobi said kicking my room door open looking annoyed as hell

    "He is not useless" I defended while he just hissed and walked away. my brother always insults Isaac, you'd think after years of Isaac coming over he would stop his childish acts but no!  he finds new words to describe him everyday

   Okay so the boy is different from most boys, so what? I wonder how he'll react when he finds out about me

    After picking my school bag I walked out of the house without bothering to look for breakfast, I didn't wake up early so I couldn't make breakfast, I'll get an earful from mom later at night but as of right now, I don't care.

    "Why do you have to subject me to seeing that brother of yours everyday" he said with his hand on his wrist as he checked the time

   "I'm sorry, I didn't know he'd be the one to get the door"

    "Let's just go" he said hooking his hand around mine

     "Wait I have to go call Amina"

    "What do you mean by call Amina? That girl is always late I bet she is still sleeping and she doesn't even go to our school anyways" that is true but Amina told me to wait for her this morning, we all used to walk to school every morning until Isaac and I got a scholarship to Springfield high school last year, it's one of the nicest schools in the state and what makes it better is that it's a bit close to our street

    "If she's still not ready then we'll leave her behind" I said dragging him before he could protest

   Amina lived three houses away from me, so we were at the front of her house In no time, just then a black Toyota Corolla drove passed us

It was Tyler

    I looked over to Isaac seeing him wave at him beaming with smile, but Tyler looked away rolling up his windows

   "I told you to stop being all nice and smiley with that boy, he's a prick" I said getting annoyed

      "He's not, he's just shy" he said playing with his fingers

     "He is not shy, he's a sneaky douchebag, who keeps playing with your feelings. You need to get over him, he's so fucking shitty and you don't see it"

    "Same way you got over Aaliyah? You shouldn't be telling me to get over someone when you still wait outside church for your so called first kiss even though you know quite well she's not coming back, you need to get over your silly crush on Aaliyah at least I still get to be with Tyler in his room I'm very fine with that" I clenched my jaws, staring at him hard before going to knock on Amina's door

      Isaac tells me how he acts in doors when they're both alone in his room but when they come outside he's so cold and mean to him, although they just cuddle and laugh around when they're alone maybe sneak a few kisses, that doesn't mean he should be cold to him outside of his room, it's like he doesn't want to be associated with Isaac outside of his room, Isaac can't see that and it's so painful to watch them and  i'm not saying Tyler should be affectionate to him in public, the least he should do is to acknowledge his existence

     I'm not going to say anything about Aaliyah because she just left me with all the feelings, just for her to disappear into thin air

   "What's wrong with the two of you?" Amina asked coming out of her house holding six slices of bread

   "Let's just go" I said glancing at Isaac one more time before walking past both of them

    "Don't you have exams to write at the beginning of a school semester to determine if your scholarship is still valid?"

    "Yes and we're about to be late for that because we decided to come wait for you, we could have been in school right now" Isaac said

"Uughh this walk to school won't be fun now that you both are fighting and why where you both talking about Tyler?"

     "Mind your business" I retorted, she's so nosy

     After walking for a while, I collected two slices of bread from the four slices left in her hand

Im starving

     "Lucky you, you've arrived at your school" Isaac said to her

         "Bye y'all"

          "Bye" I waved

       "Just go in" don't question anything, that's how their relationship is

    We continued walking, but for some reason Isaac decided to stop me when he knows quite well we're gonna be late

    "I'm sorry, whatever you feel for Aaliyah isn't foolish or silly and quite honestly if she was still here it would have blossomed into something beautiful, the same way you can't get over Aaliyah is the same way I can't get over the little moments I have with Tyler in his room, he's gonna change. He is just scared to talk to me outside, you really should see the both of us together it's perfect"

     "I really want to say a lot right now, but I won't. Isaac you need to know your worth, Tyler has girlfriends, not one not two but many. I know you like him but trust me, he's not worth it, if he only treats you right inside of his room. All the things he does in his room is cute but then again, what are you guys? Friends? Lovers too scared to ask each other out? Or is he just using you to get good grades, think about that" he nodded quietly

     "Let's go, I'll have a long talk with him when next I see him" good I don't like whatever game Tyler is playing with Isaac

    We finally arrived at the school, we were a bit late so we had to run all the way to the principals office to take the test

     "Mrs Perkins we're here" I said breathing heavily

    "Just kiss your scholarship goodbye do you know what time this is? You are supposed to take the test around 7 and then I summit it to the board immediately so they can determine if you're still eligible for the scholarship but it's 9'oclock already"

    "We know, we're sorry. My sister just got her period and her stomach was hurting so Tiwa was telling her what to do and what not to do, I'm sorry it's my fault but please allow her to take the test" he lied

    "Oh poor thing, is she fine now?"

    "I don't know, we had to hurry here to take the test. Hopefully she's fine Tiwa gave her a pill" she shook her head looking at the both of us in pity

    "Just go to your class, you can come take the exam after school" oh shit it actually worked?! We thanked her and left her office

     "Thank you Isaac for a second I was scared, my mom would kill me if I lose this scholarship, this is what she uses to brag when she's with her group of friends"

    "I know, I didn't even know it will work. I thought maybe she'll allow you but not me"

     "You're a life saver" I sighed

     "Hey! Husband and wife, get inside the class and stop standing around!" Our math teacher snapped

     "Ughh why is he still working here" I groaned silently, that man is a nightmare

   "The question you should be asking is, who sold him that orange trouser? He looks like he belongs in a circus" it was then I noticed him wearing orange pants, white button down long sleeve, orange tie and a brown shoe

     I quickly put my hand over my mouth to prevent me from laughing my heart off

This class is gonna be hilarious
